Yeah, the area were barricaded and zombie free cells. Zombies doesnt spawn there. Or maybe add some npcs that spawns there. Like the bandits patches. Heavily armed and guarded, adds immersion to the game.

You could add a spawn safezone around the NPC location since zombies dont attack the quest NPC´s, so it get less immersion breaking

We have added this mod onto our servers, is there a way to track what quests we have active and after finding the ammo for the dude in rosewood how do we give it to him?

what happens if the building where the npc's spawn also have zombies in them? do the zombies attack the npc's or is there no interaction? cos if they just stand there that's a dealbreaker for me :p

@Susan @CarlosRojasCu:Quests are given at the beginning of the game for every new character, so if you die you start all over again, but you get the new quests as soon as you reach the NPCs.

i think maybe bug at rosewood as i check at Rusty Rifle in Muldraugh like previous comment said and yes the npc is there but not at rosewood

Is this compatible with Shortwave Survivors? I'm guessing no, since the option to spawn survivor groups via Ham radio is not available.

@The US Doctor: Not ideal, it is designed to be used in a brand new save.

@Crisis you can delete the chunk that includes the rosewood bank and then once you visit it will be regenerated and the guy should spawn.

NPCS only spawn into buildings you haven't been into. I went into Rosewood Bank and couldn't find the NPC anywhere. However, when I went to the Rusty Rifle I found the NPC in a corner.

Great idea for a mod. Could you make the reward be something that can be changed in sandbox settings? Having every NPC offer money only works with additional mods. It would be good if you could make them offer useful items. Magazines, top tier clothes, perfect condition weapons, ammo etc. Probably impossible, but if they could give annotated maps (that cause loot to spawn in those locations) that would be wild. "Do my quest and I'll give you a treasure map!"

I added their location to the description. These NPCs give money as the reward for all quests, that is why I suggest some trader mod, specially when in singleplayer.

Hey buddy! I just had a quick question (and it's probably something screamingly obvious!)

Where about are the quest-givers actually located?
Love the idea of the mod and stuff - is it easy to make your own quests? I'd love to try do some basic quest-lines of my own! :)

No, they can't be moved. They are all in places with relatively low loot value, not in houses so there is no risk of players locking them inside a safehouse in MP. For example banks, churches, laundromats.

I know a mod called shortwave survivors adds money merchants. you can disable superb survivor spawns and just have npc spawning be done by shortwave.

It does, just make sure you also use a mod with traders that accept money so you can use the rewards you get from quests.
