Long story short. I played around the past week with flux.1 dev with ComfyUI and lots of coffee - and learned how to use these models on my local machine. FLux. 1 dev is pushing it (pro is still INFINITELY better but requires 120gb of VRAM) this model runs with 10 (and 30gb RAM on top) on a 4070 it's utterly black magic imo.
