Bug found: Mandrake (dead, item) in chest, hovering at first time after game start, would trigger a death sound event played.

Not yet, but in a close future (can't say when), I will start a new game with some of this big Mods, you can be sure that I will report any issue and give some feedback :cozybethesda:

Hey, I appreciate the kind words. Yeah, the vanilla experience is definitely what I'm trying to nurture here. Some people want to be Neo and that's completely fine, but I guess that's not for most people.

Short answer to your question: I don't know.

Slightly longer answer: It's possible. The mod is coded in such a way that it should play nicely with changes from most other mods, but it's difficult to know for sure. Someone will have to try it out and report back. I'm happy to investigate any issues that can be replicated.

I truly like the idea of something more vanilla friendly and less nerdy somehow because when you are using"show me" and/or "Insight" we sometime feel like Neo in the Matrix and able to see inside the code of the game to find some timer or info we want.
Very interesting mod well done and nice job, thanks for sharing it with us! :approved:

Note: I'm one of those who is using both at the same time so I'm not blaming anyone

For a future game with big mods, I may use this one for the 1st year or even more more, it will give me some fresh and different experience, thanks again!

Q: Does it work with mods like Uncompromising mod, or Tropical Island and thoses who add Hamlet and shipwreck world inside DST ?
There is Cherry Forest mod too and maybe some others, it will work when using with Item Meta ?


PS: Personal opinion but... "Item Meta" doesn't seems to be the right name for this mod... it doesn't suit well, anyone feel it?:monstertrainpeek:

Now you can choose the order of food values.

And auto-disables if "Show Me" or "Insight" is detected.

Updated the tooltip position to work like the base game (following the cursor), which means it should be consistent regardless of HUD size.

I disagree. There are many item info mods with a variety of designs, and this one's speciality is that it's the wiki just with in-game tooltips. If it wouldn't align with the wiki in everything it would lose it's point (and uniqueness compared to the other countless item info mods).

When HUD size set to 10, tooltip offset is not enough to make it completely above inventory.

Honestly that icon is quite confusing to me, consistency with wiki feels unnecessary, in this case.

What specifically do you mean about the HUD? Would you prefer if the tooltip followed the mouse position vertically as well?

The sanity gain icon is the one used on the wiki, which I'm trying to align with for consistency.

Unfortunately, I believe this is due to those mods using a slightly hacky solution when loading their fonts, which makes it difficult for me to stay compatible with them. It might be possible to make it work but idk if it's worth it

Based on what I've seen, the advantage is usually at least one of these:
- client mod with no latency
- strictly static info in the interest of fairness and simplicity
- has more of the stats you'd find on the wiki
