I think his virtue animation is bugged

This class feels like it really fits in to the more lovecraftian aspects of the game... reminds me of the creepypasta The PuppetMaster's Regime. He synergizes well with characters like the Wraith who appreciate bleed/mark/stun. Dogs of War is a powerful shuffle move. I find him powerful and fun

Also, he easily has the worst mark I've ever seen. Not being able to reach rank four--one of the spots you want mark to hit the most--is already something incredibly lackluster. Further, most enemies you want to mark will have high prot or dodge, making this mark even less useful as you won't realize just how much those debuffs help until they're gone. All in all, this character seems to struggle finding an identity in a team.

The axeman move does too much at once.

Okay, wait, so as far as I can tell, this guy is host to a kind of literary demon, which has the power to make metaphors literal? As the Author, this demon is in control and works its magic to the fullest extent, while as the Character, the demon is present in the background and alters how the world works around the character to make his actions make sense, narratively speaking.

This is a mind-twister. I love it. Exactly the kind of weird incomprehensible double-edged mind-twisty magic I've come to expect of the world of Darkest Dungeon

is immolate supposed to deal zero damage or is there something wrong with it?

@Bryggel its best that it doesn't add one. Every mod I've used with a custom actor dot slows down the game at the end of each turn. I run the game with increased combat speed though so on normal speed maybe its less noticeable.
