@Arkelyon That would defeat the point. I think a better suggestion would be if they can be prevented from dying in battle until you personally face them

@Michael Yes, in unmodded Dynasties the Immortal Leaders option will prevent death from old age AND battle.

by using the immortal in game option do my leader (Tausret) won't die of old age? I just want a clearification, not that she died later and I have no options to get her back (loading yes, but then she will die two or three rounds later).^^

There seems to be a bug related to this mod where Tausret gets replaced by a generic general.

Note how he isn't descended to her (implying that she died leaving him the heir) and he also uses her voiceover in diplomacy.

@Chaos Leaders are mortal by default; both by ageing and in battle. There is however an option to toggle them immortal. What this mod does is make that toggle make them immortal in battle, but mortal via ageing if that makes sense?

I welcome the challenge of leaders dying. Thank you for this. Just got TW pharoah today, I've still been playing atilla and rome 2 lol waiting on a good historical title.

@KiNGAlpha I think it is possible but requires a lot of scripts since there isn't an easier wound system like 3k.

Question Alex is there a way with modding that may allow characters to get wounded a few times before dying? Curious as by turn 20 all basically all unique characters in the Aegean were dead... so yeah would like know if it's possible for there to be a chance of death instead of instant death

@BrokenBlade This mod doesn't stop them dying in battles, you need the other mod or using the campaign customization setting.

started a campaign and my faction leader died in battle and in campaign. i thought he would be only wounded but nope he is supa dead

Alright, I found what causes this. There is a title which has -25% upkeep for native units - anscheinend enough for the Upkeep of the unit that it goes to 0

only his, and I switched up the native units with the factional ones. So native units do not show their upkeep, not factional

Hello there, I'm playing as Ninurta/Assyria and he got wounded in a battle and respawned 5 turns later at the capital. Now somehow the upkeep of faction units strangely isn't shown anymore on the unit panel, only the native units have their upkeep shown. When recruiting these units, they still use their upkeep, but it 'looks' like they don't have any

I'm tracking that immortal characters cannot die in battle (when faction leader immortality is on, or using your other mod), but this mod allows them to die of old age. Is it also possible for them to be assassinated in court plots?

If that previous mod was needed please put it as a requirement/prerequisite to make sure the mod works as intended: not die of combat but die of old age.

For some reason the mod did not work for me. Do I need to use campaign customization to make it work? I tested it by sending my faction leader to battle to die alone, and he did.

One final question, is this compatible with multiplayer campaigns? My friend and I would really enjoy it.
