I don'k know why but it attatches to a few other cubes and then stops only really attatching to 7 or 8 with the rest just left on there own

Changelogs hint toward overhaul of the spreading mechanic and something with props. Is this still indev? I've found that spreading (when it works) often conflicts with the merging mechanic, it'd be cool if merged instances knew to disconnect from attach points so they can ambulate.

4.i trapped it and kept spawning NPCs into that thing

amazing mod it was all fun and games until i spawned the howler npc and it gathered together and became the thing oh god all the screams its only weakness was going uphill and me escaping it through the darkroom

i think you should be able to spawn a "highly developed" version of the virus right outta the spawn menu, like in the addon thumbnail

You should also make presets for its settings. Say you want a kind of rust that sticks to walls more, or one that doesn't but is more aggressive.

I love they have different stages

I imagine them like this

stage 1. Singular They are separate cubes Not very aggressive slow spread
stage 2. Attachment: Start attaching to walls. Slight more aggressive.
Stage 3. Rage Enter a state where they attack anything they see. no matter what
stage 4. Speghetification: start binding together to create masses of cubes EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE AND DANGEROUS

Dude I decided to make this thing fight a hunter chopper and it was so cool and scary. These ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nightmares starting connecting and then climbing up that one building with the floors but no furniture inside and leaped onto the hunter chopper and then the chopper just started flying around making damage sounds and then exploded
