looking back i meant you can't change the race type without a modded database at all witch i tried to do it crashes

Ah. I only added race/derby modes from Carnage Mode, I did not use Pong Race, so I have no idea about how to make Pong Race work

"Cannot make them selectable" - as in?
You can put anything You want in the race mode variants in Options window, and the game will fallback to the regular race if the one You've entered doesn't exist

did some testing and you cannot make game types selectable at all without a modded database

If I remember correctly - You only have to edit "singleracemenu.bed" file to add "new" event types into event settings. but Carnage Races and Beat The Bomb events will crash the game if You launch them on tracks that were not used in such events before (in Carnage Mode), because those don't have valid checkpoints built in. For those You will need to edit the database

do you need to edit the database to get the (race type) to work? cause i tried to add this to my personal version of this mod i made years ago and i could never get it to work at all

Handling Damage is a previously Multiplayer-exclusive feature. It makes your car's handling do worse if you keep hitting stuff. Do harsh landings - your suspension will break more and more and go bouncy, keep damaging the engine - it will start performing worse, and so on. I had fun with this option in 8-10 lap races

What is this "Handling Damage"? Is it hidden feature in FOUC? Does Hadling Damage depends on your car's health, or other factors?

It actually works for me. All I did was use the mod manager to activate the mod...click on the Save button, then the Exit button.

Would be nice if you could adjust opponent amount, would love to race against 100+ drivers

Before the update of flatout, I had a version that could select the opponent cars.

So you can race with cars of a higher class, or race agains all trucks etc.

I'm really missing that option

I believe it won't crash if all AI will be dead by this time. At least that was the case in Flatout 2

you cant do 100 lap races without it crashing around 17 and 20 laps

unless there is cheat engine ideas, only for offline.

If I ever find out, how to add AI options - I'll surely add them. But currently nothing I've tried worked

I've tried, but with no success. Points for hitting enemies are written in a different script file, that only applies to events, launched from Carnage Mode, and I don't know, how to change that x(

nevermind! first few time i launched the game it just went straight to the game i uninstalled mod and reinstalled and this time it gave me the option to open a mod manager... weird dont know why it didnt give me that option first few times

I subscribe to the mod and make sure its downloaded and on in the steam game options but it doesnt seem to be working am i missing something here? is there another mod i need for this one to work? first time installing mods for FOUC any help is appreciated

I've added a handling damage option, but Nitrous seems to be forced to "Off" through a different script. Will update the mod if I'll find a way to disable that forced setting

А с этим модом можно баловаться уже на любой трассе!
Нужно выставить 4 круга, апгрейд - 200%. Остальные настройки не трогать.

Для справки. Грайнде в карнейдж режиме рагоняется до 259км/ч с хорошей маневренностью, с модом на 200-х процентах - максимальная скорость 281км/ч, но маневренность - средняя.

Есть крайне увлекательное занятие, которое всем советую попробовать - уничтожить всех 11 соперников за 4 круга.
В базовой игре в карнейдж режиме есть только один кубок 'Tarmaс Derby Cup' (первый класс машин - Derby, 7-й кубок) где на каждой из трех трасс (две городские и один канал) даётся по 4 круга. Выбираете любую машину из топовых: Веном, Боункрэкер или Грайнде и вперед.. уничтожать!
В других кубках дают 3 круга. Конечно, мОжно уничтожить до финиша всех врагов, но это ОЧЕНЬ-ОЧЕНЬ сложная задача.

5) Первый раз запускаете игру через библиотеку Steam --> кнопка 'Играть'
6) Появится меню Mod Manager --> ставите галочку напротив мода 'Extra Single Race Options' --> внизу слева 'Save' --> далее внизу справа 'Test' --> Игра запуститься с модом.
7) Последующие разы можно запускаться просто с ярлыка игры на рабочем столе.
8) В игре: 'Single Events' (3-й режим в главном меню) --> 'Race' и т.д..
