Thanks so much, that's lovely! Let me know if you like the changes or have other feedback.
Yeah you're right! I'll be moving that in the next patch!
@flopp
No worries, glad you figured it out!

Thanks for your work keeping this updated! Absolutely necessary for the larp.
Pure Stellaris crashing upon loading map graphics. Wish I could give more info, but the crash is simply a vague EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION.
Hah, a 1440p monitor is well worth the upgrade I assure you! (Not just speaking about this mod!)
No,sorry. 99% of the mods code is based on things that invalidate the checksum. It is multiplayer compatible though
@asa
No idea, sorry!
The reason for the crash in the Chinese environment is the missing localization for the WP's library. It will work after localized.
And , how to change the planet names
I don't believe there should be many such overwrites! It could be that steam has been slow in sending you the updates I pushed today, so some files are duplicated for your install right now. It won't cause any harm, though.
Thanks for all the compliments and let me know what bugs you find!
Let me know if it's fun!
@Zalpha
Thanks!! Did you spot that the top right starfield is animated?
Much appreciated! But trust me I dislike the mirror effect too: Particularly on the Savannah, it makes the trees look awful. I think you were smart to ask about the panning left and right. It's what I wanted, too.
I'm not gonna bitch about the AI art, don't worry. Even if I were truly upset about it, I'm not the type to get into that kind of topic on a workshop comment thread. If I really cared, I'd just not use the mod. I'm happy enough with what we did get.
Panning would be awesome! So would just a quick scroll then stop once each time the panel opens. Sadly I considered and tried both, but both were pretty much impossible and not really supported by Stellaris' GFX animation tools. (Okay, there is one potential hacky idea but it's really mental and data/processing heavy). So this is the method I've gone with.
Ironically as much as someone might bitch about generative AI, it actually has the solution to this problem. Whisk can perfect close the seams together in a way that is totally imperceptible. We ran some prototypes of the effect in my discord channel last week with great results! The only reason I didn't do it was because I ran out of time developing.
Rather than the weird mirror loop you've got going on for the left side element, I feel like it would be way better to just have the image pan back and forth. Like, it starts scrolling one way, then once it reaches the end of the picture it starts scrolling back the other way, with maybe a slight pause in between. That would be far less distracting than the obvious seams from mirroring the image, at least for me. Honestly I would be happier with a static image than the weird mirroring.
Do you mean "Specialisation Slots"?
I believe this mod will support those too, no patch needed, as long as the mod providing the city district with the excessive zones provides it's own gui for them. But that would be on their end.
More districts are 100% enabled, you just scroll the district list.
Basically, any chance you'll support more than the default number of slots, because, honestly, this UI is fucking beautiful!
I started a new game to see it myself, and spent like 10 minutes just staring at how gorgeous the UI is. This is absolutely something that Paradox //NEED// to implement in base game (as well as giving us more slots in general, because their new 6/3 layout makes tall builds really challenging)
When did I say I'd given up on the project? I said 4.0 disappointed me and I'd be skipping it until PDX had finished messing with the planet viewer. We're 4.1 now and they have.
Thanks!
@EJR
That sounds like steam hasn't properly updated the mod for you - those are the old assets. Screenshots for me would help.
@Dudedhero
Tints don't appear on the production box, I'm not sure what you mean?
@Pants
Hah! I actually did think about that when I was setting it up (I set it to global, not country) but I figured the odds of anyone playing in multiplayer with the same mod were super low! Then here you are on day one.
For some reason for some planets there is a black horizontal line where the stars are when I open the planet portrait. The stars themselves show up as intended and the image isn't dragged down or anything (I have compared it to my other colonies, the stars, buildings, etc are all in the same spot) so I don't know what is going on there. Some planets don't even show the stars or the landscape, just a black image. The rest of the planetary portrait works just fine from the new animation to the settings.
Ah well it doesn't really matter in what way people choose to get more buildings/districts/whatever. What I can say is that this UI will display whatever they pick. I don't think people should be downloading a bunch of mods and submods just to change a couple of small values, though! Seems unnecessary to me.
Thanks very much! Let me know anything you enjoy in particular (or don't!)
Thanks! Feels good to be done. And same I havent bought the new stuff. PDX has a very, very long way to go with performance I'm afraid.
@Rahi81
Thank you for the nice feedback!!
I have no idea what that is
