In my original post I explained how to edit it, it's a .png file for most of the textures. I use photoshop to edit the theme, and so can you!

why not add options to the original addon to change the colors?

@rapscallian If you want a more true darkui experience, like the old one. I made a version for someone that requested it a couple days ago, that reverts the accent colors except for the backgrounds back to the old colors, like the orignal mod. That took almost no effort and I just reused my assets from the red and original project. This however is mostly customized and took a day to fully 'complete', as long and I like how it looks. I might end up loaning some of this project's assets to my red and blue projects as I prefer the looks of what I did here. Can't piss of the people who subscribed all the way in January, though :)

@Freef please check the screenshots of this project, I did a lot of custom work on this one. Comparing my older release to DarkUI, I completely desaturated all the grays, some had a slight trace of color making it harder to edit. I added a border, all menu's are transparent, unlike darkui. Please refer to the patch notes as well as it might give some insight to the changes I make!

On my red ui page I linked DarkUI for credits so you can easily go back and forth to notice the changes.
