Gourds are a vanilla item. They're in the base game, not from this mod. Seek the official Noita wiki for how to acquire them.
Dumb idiot 30. juli kl. 19:09
Thing is, I don’t know where to even find the gourds. Are they found around the world or are they like in shops or item areas?
Sirius Oculus  [ophavsmand] 29. juli kl. 11:15
The whole description is a guide, it walks you through getting everything you need to begin trial and error of mixing stuff.
Dumb idiot 28. juli kl. 21:10
is there a guide to this? i dont even know where to start with this mod.
Sirius Oculus  [ophavsmand] 5. juli kl. 16:35
lol
Timecrete is the key to building with brickwork and spaghetti cat powder is in fact real
Mix bittering agent with vertebrew and do shenanigans with the resulting powder

update: 24h poly immunity
Don Cangrejo 4. juli kl. 21:32
really good mod btw
Don Cangrejo 4. juli kl. 21:32
ok so i may have shifted snow to pacemeal and got 12900s of protection from all and poly immunity i now know how to neutralize coresauce but im yet to know hoy to make "timcrete" and the "spaghetti cat powder" if those are real
Sirius Oculus  [ophavsmand] 4. juli kl. 19:20
Mix brine and brakeless (which you should have discovered by the mere existence of one of the bloods being exposed to air) and try mixing that with stuff, then take what you get and mix it with other stuff as per usual. There's still quite a few things you haven't found such as a food upgrade involving hot chocolate, a way to neutralize coresauce, and a way to build with brickwork.
Don Cangrejo 4. juli kl. 18:46
Ok i've got othersoup, hot chocolate, vertebrew and coresauce. What other material/liquids do you recomend to mix with the blood of the fruits, just a hint bc i cant think of anything
Sirius Oculus  [ophavsmand] 23. maj kl. 20:53
Gourds are found in the same place as the base game, go left and climb the wall
Seeds are explained in the first spoiler
Getting (generally) everything else is also explained in those
tristankamstutz 23. maj kl. 16:50
where do i get a gourd or seed or anything?
Vegan420 14. maj kl. 22:18
wow!
teddygu 14. feb. kl. 13:28
Just wanted to update: the mod causing issues was either Graham's Things or Alchemical Reactions Expansion.
teddygu 31. jan. kl. 8:44
That may be it. I'm in the middle of a pretty long run so once I finish that I can further test and report back. I have a hunch it's Chemical Curiosities, Graham's Things, or Apotheosis. Thanks for the help!
Sirius Oculus  [ophavsmand] 30. jan. kl. 15:20
The fruits are made of the same material as the halloween pumpkins, which I don't think normally interacts with much. In my testing I didn't have any issues regarding it. Maybe you have another mod that adds alchemy to cook it, which is destroying the fruit?
teddygu 30. jan. kl. 13:57
Hi, I'm having a really hard time getting to the next fruit after Temporia. I've tried so many different ways of tossing it into the lava and it either takes damage and leaks latticemaker or it just immediately becomes fully cooked meat. I know it does work just because I was able to create the next fruit for a split second in the lava lake after numerous attempts and haven't been able to since . Any advice?
Sirius Oculus  [ophavsmand] 24. nov. 2024 kl. 14:51
It's designed to be a world-eater. It may have been accelerated by other mods, but is rather fast on its own especially in certain biomes like the desert. Keeping even a pixel of Shiva Stabilizer around your work area can kill it off if you accidentally create some.
Biopsyhozis 24. nov. 2024 kl. 14:23
By circumstances independent of me, it spread around the world without my intervention. Perhaps it's a matter of combining with other major mods, including expanded alchemy.
Sirius Oculus  [ophavsmand] 24. nov. 2024 kl. 14:03
Coresauce's creation is hinted at a few times by item descriptions but is overall to be avoided. If you've unleashed it, try to make Shiva Stabilizer. It's the only thing that'll really contain it, but is very effective at doing so.
Biopsyhozis 24. nov. 2024 kl. 13:15
Some blue liquid called “coresauce” has started eating the entire world in parallel creating bloody blood. What is it and is it normal?
Sirius Oculus  [ophavsmand] 22. nov. 2024 kl. 19:40
I just tested it and was able to get it to produce stuff. It has the same drop rates as any other plant. Probably just unlucky. Do keep in mind that this mod is intended to supplement long runs and the planting/harvest stage is primarily to be done in the background while you make other progress, so it'll be boring if you're just waiting around for it. If you already possess all other plants though, you can start the mixing process and start making new compounds. The ninth plant is entirely optional.
Mr.McMan 22. nov. 2024 kl. 17:00
I waited twenty minutes in, game, off and on screen, I cant get the last plant to grow anything, how long is it supposed to take?
Sirius Oculus  [ophavsmand] 22. nov. 2024 kl. 3:50
I could have made them disappear, but I chose not to. It makes the lantern lights go out, but that's the extent of it.
Mr.McMan 21. nov. 2024 kl. 18:22
I was able to eventually figure it out, but there seems to be a bug, at the last step the two backrounds dont seem to disapear
Sirius Oculus  [ophavsmand] 19. nov. 2024 kl. 19:41
I see how it's a little misleading due to it being on the seed, but you are supposed to toss the gourd/crossgourd into toxic sludge. Every transformation always occurs in fruit form. The crossgourd item text is mostly flavor with a little bit of meaning regarding the quest to acquire the big plants.
Mr.McMan 19. nov. 2024 kl. 14:11
Heres what ive done, taken the gourd to the anvil, covered the seeds in toxic sludge grow Crossgourds, description "A divinity that sears the sky", not a clear pointer, take it back to anvil, get the seeds, description "Second generation. It's the same." ive tried growing them again to see if the second generation thing is the hint, so where am I supposed to figure out where cursefruit are or how to make them, because the hint text in the description dosn't say and the next hint assumes you have one
Sirius Oculus  [ophavsmand] 19. nov. 2024 kl. 9:39
If you wish not to use the spoiler for it, take a look at the item description for gourd seeds again.
Sirius Oculus  [ophavsmand] 19. nov. 2024 kl. 9:38
The second hint, as the labeling states, is what to do with the cursefruit you already have. If you don't already have one, the first hint of what to do with a gourd tells you how to get one.
Mr.McMan 19. nov. 2024 kl. 9:36
I got crossgourds, how do get cursefruit, becaue the hint for fruit two implies you already have one
Sirius Oculus  [ophavsmand] 19. nov. 2024 kl. 9:27
Crossgourds are functionally identical to gourds, just with more health so they don't splat from the tree. By mid progression I mean in regards to the mod, not the game. When you have all the plants but have yet to do any "cooking".
Mr.McMan 19. nov. 2024 kl. 8:29
That works, but then how do you get the Cursefruit from Crossgourds

Also when you mean mid progression things for the final stage, do you mean mid development or mid game
Sirius Oculus  [ophavsmand] 18. nov. 2024 kl. 19:45
Ah, I see. I've done that a lot in testing. At the bottom of "Input" in settings there's a toggle for that if you haven't already found it.
Mr.McMan 18. nov. 2024 kl. 14:08
I figured out the growing issue, when I used two moniters, the game pauses every time you alt tab, so I would plant it, go watch a youtube video and be very annoyed it hadnt progressed.

Also just to be clear im talking about Going from Crossgourds to Cursed Fruit
Sirius Oculus  [ophavsmand] 18. nov. 2024 kl. 13:16
All plants use the same modular code, all necessary variables are on the plants themselves and thus you can have as many as you want without them affecting each other. I double checked the hint information, I tweaked the transformation information for the fruit directly after gourds and somehow it got rolled back due to me mis-managing versions. I'm changing it back to the clearer version right now, but the hint from gourds to that fruit should be there no matter the version and is on the gourd's seed description (and was previously on the gourd itself, I think, but not anymore). Something else to note, the big plants in the preview images are a mid-progression thing. They don't naturally grow to that size.
Mr.McMan 18. nov. 2024 kl. 9:31
It has happened twice, its possible it is rng but I never actually saw the final stage. And it might be a problem with either reloading or planting more than one.

Also the gourd transformation seems to not give the hint to plant two, nor its seeds, is it something in the base game I'm not aware of, or should it be found somewhere.
Sirius Oculus  [ophavsmand] 17. nov. 2024 kl. 20:19
All fruits are transformations of the previous fruits. Plants at the end of their lifecycle roll to either reset their growth stages or die and drop a seed, and RNG can make it happen really quickly. Especially when going off-screen and stacking up time, they tend to just drop a bunch of fruit and reset. Is it happening immediately and has it happened several times?
Mr.McMan 17. nov. 2024 kl. 19:50
It seems the first plant resets, either right before or seconds after, when it reaches the final stage, I assume thats not supposed to happen?
Mr.McMan 17. nov. 2024 kl. 19:32
Hey is the second plant a progression of the first one, or is it somewhere else in the world.
Mr.McMan 16. nov. 2024 kl. 20:49
I was eventuallly able to get it to grow, it had to do with being in Conjured
Mr.McMan 16. nov. 2024 kl. 20:31
Correct, I kick the plant but it hasnt seemingly grown fro ten minutes, its been on screen the whole time, does it need to get off screen
Sirius Oculus  [ophavsmand] 16. nov. 2024 kl. 20:23
Shouldn't take very long, it needs to be on-screen for some time (variable, but generally only a few minutes) until it starts to grow even while offscreen. Should be quick growing for the first few plants. You are trying to plant it via kicking a seed and not the fruit itself or leaving the seed on the ground, right?
Mr.McMan 16. nov. 2024 kl. 20:09
I cant seem to get the first plant to actually grow, how long is that supposed to take
Sirius Oculus  [ophavsmand] 13. nov. 2024 kl. 3:29
It has been added! It exists a moderate distance above the gourd room. I'll figure out the spell thing later, shouldn't be too difficult, but for now a teleport bolt and long distance cast works fine.
Sirius Oculus  [ophavsmand] 12. nov. 2024 kl. 19:54
That sounds neat. The original plan long before I started working on this was to have a kitchen on the side of the temple of the art. I'll think about it, and I feel like I could get it to fit in moderately well with the other new sky islands for the mimicium quest. I'll also consider having the garden/greenhouse contain some free starter glassware to use so you don't need to wait until the 9th plant to use them.
Level12Lobster 12. nov. 2024 kl. 13:14
I wish there was an actual garden area for you to do your planting.

After you do first step with the gourd, it would also give you a spell that takes you to "The Forsaken Garden" similar to how Spell Labs has a wand workshop you can teleport to.

Nice empty chunks between Essence of Spirits and lava above the gold biome that would be mod friendly.
Could have spots for the 9 plants and some "experimenting" spots on each side to mix stuff around.

Might be cool if you also figure out how Apotheosis made that brickwork/sacred rock that can't be dug by any means. Won't be able to accidentally blow up the garden or break into the garden with out the spell.
Moldos 7. nov. 2024 kl. 1:31
very cool mod
Sirius Oculus  [ophavsmand] 28. okt. 2024 kl. 12:47
No worries, the game is really finnicky with the component that I'm required to use to detect materials. Big plants are the final step in the process, requires every other plant.
Everything_Main22 28. okt. 2024 kl. 7:06
Ok sorry for the other comment I got it around 10 mins after writing the comment
Everything_Main22 28. okt. 2024 kl. 6:25
Hey man I've basically thrown like, a hundred tempoiras into the lava and nothing has happened am I doing smth wrong? I've tried different kinds of throwing as well I've tried taking them out of my inventory via the menu and all. Also how do I get my trees to be as big as the ones you show in the images or are those just for advertising?
