I sincerely apologize. I seem to downloaded mod long time ago, when it was just enemy without origin, so requirements didn't downloaded automatically, as they didn't present back then. I'll keep that in mind.

@Poussey Are you sure you have both required animation mods activated? Because the high fiving only happens when there are invalid animation clip names.

I dunno why, but he keeps High Five'ing enemies instead of executing them sometimes. Also, remove Half-mag's charge attack from Heavy Attacks. It's too random and ends up falling off the map too often, on foundry, nexus core and so on.

I felt like I was fighting another person better than when you have to fight Hank. Real nice work on how 'alive' the retainer feels as an enemy.

Weird idea i have been thinking about for a while now, but a smaller more weaker version of the retainer (like a Retainee) would be interesting. Something that has the aspects of the original origin but also more playable without destroying everything in your path too easily, if that makes sens at all.

That sounds right, but when I upgraded his Acrobatics it looks like the "fly dodge" got replaced by a more forceful teleport, which *sometimes* behaves, but more often than not it just warps me backwards or sideways, usually into a worse position.

The teleports are random while the fly dodge always goes in the direction your character is facing (forwards their current position).

Are his teleports supposed to all be random? His snap-dodge rarely goes where I want it to, and his regular dodge only goes in the right direction sometimes. Is there something I'm missing?

New major update! The mod now uses custom animations from Bagmetti and Amila. The executions are now more brutal and varied, among other things!
Make sure to be subscribed to these new mod dependencies.

There IS an option to add custom voicelines im sure, theres a mod that replaces Hanks voicelines entirely with custom ones and V1's origin pack has completely new voicesets for origins

pretty much spot on in terms of how he acts in 9.5, absolutely cool as hell
it would be cool if you could one day add custom voicelines if possible, and if so I'd actually be happy to voiceact for it lol

The mask and outfit are part of Lurk's armor bundle. It's a required mod.

Did you restart the game after enabling the mod? Enabling/disabling mods is buggy if you don't.

the only issues are the MAG takedown (doesnt kill) and the walkspeed

the movement could use some tweaking but with the unarmed fix the origin is mostly good and if you can get over having to use his weird sprint all the time he is a very fun origin

New update, I had to change Retainer's unarmed damage type from force to blunt, to solve the issue where his punches dealt almost no damage. Also gave him a deadlier counter.

when i use this origin somewhat tanky targets (GO3LM and NEXUS liftbot and more) it just cant kill it at all

Even though Origin could really use some improvements, like inconsistent walk speed, more throwing enemies away instead of killing them. But overall I still really like it. I'm very grateful for having an origin version to begin with. Really hope for updates in the future. Maybe few tweaks.

The origin version needs work. It's excruciatingly slow. I first expected it to be similar to the Massive origin. You're much better off using melee over unarmed attacks because unarmed attacks don't kill enemies as efficiently. Some takedown animations either miss or don't kill the target. The standalone retainer you can play in Playground is superior.

The Origin has a couple of problems.

1. It interacts with the speed stat strangely. Sometimes it will move quickly and then slow down to a crawl.

2. The punches you throw have the strange effect of not killing nearly as fast, even though you should with how much damage you do (this might be a game thing and not the fault of the mod).

3. The takedown sometime glitches out and does not kill the target (it's usually one where you pick them up, but the body of the target isn't in your hand, punch them, and then throw them on the ground).
