@psyfun, if you can't start a run, that indicates that something catastrophic (a silent crash) has happened.

To anyone experiencing crashes/issues, please check the following files for an error message (should be near the bottom of the file)

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1102190\2187468759\BepInEx\LogOutput.log

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Shiny Shoe\MonsterTrain\logfile.log

Check the bottom of the file for a message looking similar to the above. This is called a stacktrace and should pinpoint the problem to any developer.

Feel free to post that in #modding-development on the Monster Train discord and we can see what's going wrong.

Simply turning them off did not work, but a full uninstall-reinstall did work.

@mcfiddish I would suggest jumping into the Monster Train Discord (link in game), go to the Modding Discussion channel, and posting a screenshot of your active mods there. That would most likely be the quickest way to get help on solving this.

@ItsTangilicious No luck, I tried turning all mods off, then turning them on one by one and the new clan still doesn't show. I only had the Mod Loader, Custom Clan Helper, and Hellborne Pathogens turned on.

@mcfiddish I've seen this happen before were it was fixed by turning off all your mods and then turning them back on. Let me know if that works for you!

So, I cannot find a fix nor cause for this bug, but I cannot Depart. I click the button and nada happens. Base clans still work fine, just not this one. Mods are this, Trainworks, Loader, Clan Helper, and Boss Info. Nothing that should conflict in the slightest I would think.

I've enabled this mod as well as the Custom Clan Helper and Trainworks Mod Tools. I can't see the new clan on my Steam Deck or laptop running Linux. Is there something else I need to enable, or is it a Linux thing?

a few crazy overpowered cards in this clan. last run i was getting like +100/+100 per turn on my full capacity multistriking railspike+hallowed halls team

First off, really enjoying the clan. Secondly, I'll probably make a list of little bits and bobs of bugs/weirdness I spotted in my playthroughs so far. I doubt it is exhaustive, but I figure it might help.

The big thing though, and why I'm making this comment now is I may have found another softlock with Simplexvirus. I was in the Daedalus fight with his extinguish deal 1 damage modifier for enemies and also had Mycorrhizal Network. Hemorrhagic Super Virus was on top floor and I'm not sure if the softock was because of the rapid floor jumping or what, but it did seem to only happen when there was an odd number of attacks on Simplexvirus' floor. I repeated the fight 4 times softlocking twice when there were 3 Clergymen and not softlocking when I killed 1 before it reached Simplexvirus' floor.

As for patient zero it spawned just fine, it also spawned viruses just fine, I think it softlocked when it tried to spawn more viruses than the unit cap. (spawning 6 per revenge trigger with highly reactive).

Another softlock bug, simplex diabolicus has a tendency to softlock on entering relentless. Happened to me against thoughtbinder and crystalcloak.

@Kaerius I'm guessing since you weren't playing as the Pathogens, the unit spawn for Patient Zero wasn't loaded into the run so it softlocked because it couldn't find the unit data.
