The DLC blocks you're seeing are probably there because of scripting limitations or because you have progression enabled (read the desc. please)
P.S. some DLC are still present, would be nice to update mode to hide those as well.
Make sure you have progression disabled in the world settings if something's weird.
Or do you actually see block groups that have no vanilla blocks in them and blocks without icons? Maybe post a screenshot, hard to tell what's up just from your comment.
Anyway, I'm not gonna spend time making it work for older versions, sorry.
And you're talking about block categories, not variant groups, right?
Does this also happen with no other mods loaded? And are there any owned/vanilla blocks in the groups?
