I noticed a small issue with compatibility. Since you named the packfile to be high in the load order, if a mod reskins a unit and changes the porthole to match, your mod will override it. Which is the opposite of what you'd want to happen.

Hey it shouldnt conflict, I havnt heard of any cases of that happening so far. This mod literally just replaces what CA has done with our own. Nothing complicated enough to cause conflicts on our end atleast :)

Hi, does this mod conflict with the custom units 2d portholes from the new modded factions like cataph marienburg and mixu LL's? or are these new units simply don't have 2D portholes ? great mod btw and waaay better than CA's 2D portholes!

Update regarding this mod: I will be keeping it alive, CA have as of 6.2 updated the portholes, which is nice. However I intend to keep this mod going for anyone that prefers this mods portholes. I have also just released an update to add portholes for the new units.

Hello, I have a bug that sometimes occurs where the faces of the characters are green or black when they are not, if someone has already had this problem and could tell me how to fix it, if there is a mod that fixes this bug or if it's a compatibility problem with this mod? Thank you in advance

Hi all, big update today. Surprised myself with how fast I got this done. New portholes have been added for all new Omens of Destruction units. Enjoy the new DLC :D

its a UI mod so it will be safe to remove mid game. Its also very unlikely to be causing crashes. Crashes are usually caused by database conflicts. This mod on a techical level is very simple , it just replaces existing png files with better ones.

Is this safe to remove mid game? Im pretty sure its causing crashes for certain custom lords/heroes when they get selected. Could be wrong using geforce now so gotta just figure it out through trial and error

Updated for 5.2 (added new portholes for new greenskin units)

@DTAPPS NZ - theres no current plan to do lord or hero portraits. The portholes for Lord and Heroes are a lot more complicated than regular units.

Hi everyone! I am glad to announce the release of the last layer mask update! Chaos Dwarfs and the Ogre Kingdoms now display faction colors on their unit portholes. I'll be taking a little break now - that was a mountain of work adding layer masks for every unit card that needed it; But once I've recouped i'll be looking at creating some additional submod support (suggestions appreciated). yeah ive check the base game, and I cannot even find an entry for a khorne variant of the beastmen ror ghorgon. You may want to post it as a bug on the official forums.

Yesterday I saw that the The Bloodbrute Behemoth (Ghorgon) RoR porthole seems to be broken. I couldn't try again without other mods yet (none should be changing portholes aside from this one but anyways) but I'll try to check again and see what happens in the base game as well

Hi all big update today! the Lizardmen and Skaven layer mask update is now live - yes yes. Lizardmen proved to be a bit of a headache. Layer masks and scales do not pair well together and lizardmen use a tertiary colour to change their scale tone (this is notable on skinks). However CA only provides support for primary and secondary layer masks - not tertiary. So the 2D unit portholes will all have blue scales. If you want some added parity subscribe to my new mod I made specially to address this issue: Blue Lizardmen

@casanova - have you tried just using red eyed skaven and this mod on their own and deactivated everything else? Because I'm not getting a crash on my end. I've even went into the red-eye skaven pack file to look for conflicts and that mod does not touch regular unit portholes (only hero and LL ones)

yes that is it, i disabled it and reenabled your porthole mpd and it worked, i just now did a double check to make sure it was that one - positive.

funny thing was i initially wasn't even trying to troubleshoot the issue i was having with your mod, i was actually having CTD before and after battles and looked at what mod was recently updated at it was the skaven red eye one,, lmao.

so i found the crash amongst my 300 mods and it was a mod which i assumed only changes the eye color of the skaven to red, but the modder later put additions to that which added LL's and edit stats and portholes

yes 300 looks crazy but i turned this off and it works now which is strange before this mod update it worked but not anymore, i can only assume maybe sneks or millinium some mod with generals/LL not sure very sad for this i really liked it unfortunately since i already found fix rather than finding conflicting mod out of the 300 this will have to do sorry

@casanova I doubt that very much, this mod literally only changes static png image files. No scripts or database files. If your running 300 mods, your best looking at the other 299

this mod crashes at end of battles i have 300 mods but it seems this is the one that triggers it ever since update unfortunately for me
