Actually ok i spoke too soon. This is something probably players need do cause i forgot songs of syx simply overwrites other mods and only uses the highest order mod. So ehh i guess dont need update regions honestly. Its kinda like the player should check their mods and do it there self if use a region mod like ple's region rework. Sorry if confusing.

Hey Your Regions Folder needs to update pastures. so chicken pastures can be seen in world regions. i just updated my Bamboo/ Straw Mod, and my Dairy Pastures mod so the world regions now has the new resources. but ya its super simple one FILE that needs be put in the mod and udpated. i sent friend request so can show you

It should be fine to add, and honestly I think you can even remove it it should just delete the pastures and animals

Updated for V69, not sure what was changed in V68 but can't confirm compatibility for v68. Should be backwards compatible with V66/67

Candidly I haven’t been playing much lately and was waiting for the next major release before updating my mods but I can probably find some time to review the latest and make an updated version, assuming there weren’t dramatic changes to the file structure for v69+

Not meaning this negatively but do you plan on continuing this mod?

goated, I use chickens everytime now

i didnt get it to work. I tried editing another mod a well as this one. I made some edits to vulemar race mod and got it to run and start a new game but my edits were not sufficient and it kept crashing.

I only edited the files the game crashes identified though and I could see there was a different file structure that i wasnt editing so i guess i kind of knew it wouldnt work.

I did less work on this but i did try and no it doesnt work out of the box for 067.

@sirdave79 are there changes needed? I will take a look and update

What do you mean improvements? Are you talking about technologies? The chickens benefit from the same technologies as the other pastures. The only ones they wouldn't get would be race specific ones? I'm not sure which techs specifically benefit Globians since I don't use them

Obviously if I knew it wasn't working I wouldn't have released it, but if for some reason there is a need for legacy versions you can request them. I will never use this mod again, 1) there is no benefit from chickens, since the original lizards are better at everything. 2) Updating the mod caused all my saves to crash, which I spent 15 hours on. I wish the author "All the best"

@Taco Tuesday, in order to have the vanilla races have skill and preference I will need to release a compatibility patch, since this requires overwriting the vanilla race files which would create potential compatibility issues and would require updating every time the race files change

Im staring at this mod and the bows and im like, feathers tho XD Great mod makes playing humans tolerable if you start on the north side.

Why aren't Tilapi as skilled at or fulfilled by chicken pastures as with most of the other animals? Ranching is their whole thing. In it's current state, it doesn't seem worth it

Unfrotunately steam obscures mod locations. But thanks anyway. Hopefully jake will add some way for a mod to check for another mod and then add a conditional for it. Until then I guess chicken pastures are no go for me. They get out performed by globdeins on pure egg production. Shame.

I find it a bit funny that the chicken pasture has a higher accident rate than the onx pasture... But that might just be because the onx has a pretty low accident rate.

It should benefit from generic pasture boosts like titles, and I explicitly added a patch for vanilla techs. Sadly there isn't a way (that I'm aware of) to do single line edits through mods, you have to overwrite the entire file, so I'm hesitant to make patches for other mods that would need to be synced every time they update, but if you open the tech file for the techs that mod the pastures you just add "ROOM_PASTURE_CHICKEN>ADD: 0.X," and it will work
