I'd have to check and see if the Hanyang project has any hair models I could take advantage of, but don't expect anything

I don't think anyone has modded hairs in this game. I think there's enough shared expertise in the modding community to figure it out, but if it's any degree of complicated then I'm not going to be the one to do it.

The hairstyle of Korean women is being displayed the same as that of Chinese women. The hairstyles of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese women should all be different. For Korean women, the typical hairstyle is neatly tied back with a hairpin. However, it is not displaying correctly.

An update has been pushed!

Brand new models for early-game uniforms, primarily from the Hanyang Time Machine Project, have been imported, and they replace the older content that only had specific color variants of hanbok or reused base game assets with custom textures to represent certain clothes.

Some additional rework is planned, mainly targeting the hats for the imperial uniforms & the late-game clothing. The current update took a few weeks to do since I had to learn a lot of new things to get it done, and the next stuff I have planned may take just as long, so please don't be surprised if it is not ready by 1.9's launch and if it gets delayed further by it as I will probably have to spend time updating & fixing my other mods when 1.9 arrives.

If I recall correctly, East Asian Clothes needs to load before (i.e. be placed above) East Asian Clothes Patch and Western Clothes: Redux

I have a question. So, regardless of the order,

Is it okay to do this mod with
Western Clothes: Redux
East Asian Clothes + East Asian Clothes Patch
James's Pop Clothing Tweaks
Community Outfit Mod
?
Sometimes when you westernize clothes, you get naked.

It took me half a day to look at it, and I don't think it's because of this mode. When I reset the game about 5 times and looked at the DNA code, it was coded so that Yi Bon's DNA would go bald. So my son seems to have Gojong's bald. But.. the problem is that there is unique DNA data for Yi Kwan based on vanilla, but Yi Bon's unique DNA data is not in vanilla or mode. Nevertheless, I don't know why the same DNA data always comes out in every new game. Anyway, that's right.

Hmm, could be a bug. I'll make a note to investigate it.

Could you tell me if either of these are true for your save:
• You are playing with Western Clothes: Redux and you have westernized
• You are NOT playing with Western Clothes: Redux and you have proclaimed the Korean Empire
TomKazansky 30 dec. 2024 la 20:19
If I play choseon, yi hwan -> yi myongbok all go bald when they're over 18.. how do I solve this? I want to stop seeing baldness.

The 1907 service dress as depicted in his book Uniforms of Old Korea and this drawing [www.pixiv.net] are what they're primarily based off of!

His name has been listed near the top of the credits as a reference this whole time, in case you didn't notice.

did you base the modernized uniforms on anything in particular? i recommend taking a look at PzKpfwI's art if you haven't already if you ever want to do any updates for this:

I don't intend to make any more mods like this one, sorry

HMOG!! This is an awesome mod!!! Can you please make one for the Ottomans???
1230james  [autor] 28 oct. 2024 la 10:56
It'd be best if you stop by the Modding Co-op Discord server and ask there. Making a clothing mod on par with this is a very involved effort with a bunch of things at play that would be rather tiring to explain in detail by myself 😅

There's an invite link at the bottom of the description.

Hello! I have a question regarding creating mods for soldiers uniforms. I’d like to create something similar but for the re-emerging polish army. Can I count on private chat help? I’d like to at least give it a try. Best regards - the mod is beautiful!

@1230james

The mod you recommended to me worked perfectly. Now my prime minister doesn't wear dirty clothes.

I think there was an interference between a mod that creates new figures and yours, since that mod has a vanilla clothing logic.

Thank you for your kind and detailed help!
1230james  [autor] 2 aug. 2024 la 23:18
Works fine for me.

Do you have any other mods active? This is a known problem with certain mods, especially if they try to change the logic for when the Korean king clothing is supposed to be used (normally it's always used on all rulers, which obviously isn't correct for e.g., republics). That combined with the hanbok clothing definitions seeming to exclude rulers causes the fallback clothes to be used, which is what you're probably observing.

I cover it in my Pop Clothing Tweaks mod since something I use (possibly one or several of my own mods) seems to cause the exact same issue, so I would recommend using that if you aren't, or you can try figuring out which other mods you have that may be causing it, if any.

Bug report)

When the political system is a democratic republic that adopts a parliamentary system - regardless of whether the leader was a former general or politician - the leader's clothes change into old, shabby clothes of the lower class.

DPRK clothing?

KUP doesn't try to address Korean pops wearing Chinese clothing so I'm not sure what makes you think PCT isn't needed?

Do I still need pop clothing tweaks or nah?
1230james  [autor] 18 mai 2024 la 18:17
EACP needs to come after EAC, but otherwise you can put them in whatever order you want.

The one I used for testing this mod was:
KUP
COM
EAC
WCR
EACP
Taigasiggy 18 mai 2024 la 15:08
I am curious about the order in which Western Clothes Redux, EAC, EACP, and Community Outfit Mod are used together.
