will the fish finder detect NPC's in the water?

Just for the record, I'm not annoyed by AI. I'm annoyed by this big propaganda push they're making to habituate us to it by flooding the media with supposedly good things it's supposedly doing. I'm waiting to find out what they're trying to set us up for.

AI itself, I'm not annoyed by. I'm worried about what they're going to do with it. :P

Make sense. Again awesome work. You probably noticed that your fish finder is quite standard on youtube now lol. As for constructive criticism, I would suggest to display the current depth on your fish finder. I do have a boat myself and they all do (it is also super useful).

What you could do in, on the bottom part, remove the "50m" label and display the current dept instead. We can figure out the whole range by seeing your 100m label anyway. The 50 is a bit useless.

Hello @djgmusial, ss far as I know there is no sensor that detects crabs/lobsters.
Hello @Frag2000, it's the average depth of all currently displayed fishes. The fish detector does not measure the sea depth and its range is limited to 100 meters.

Hi, Will this be updated for the lobster/crab update or will you make a finder for them separately?

Thanks for the answer, kinda of a dumb question but it is not clear to me. On the display, is the average depth is the average depth of all fishes, or the average depth of the ocean (since you could move super quickly).

Hello @Frag2000, the color fades out with a timer, doesn't mean much if only how old the detection is.

Good work, very well done! Does the pixel color for the fishes means anything?

Cant get fishfinder to turn on, everything else seems to work fine, any ideas for what im doling wrong

could somebody use this in a fishing ship i really want to see a fishing ship with the commercial fishing update

If it doesn't appear, contact steam support.

Not quite sure what is going on, but after subscribing and restarting the game numerous times, the microcontroller is not showing up in-game under the microcontroller tab, nor under the workshop tab

Hello @TKTom, I do not plan to make any other versions of this. With little adjustments you can already make this one work for the use you described.

Considering the fishfinders only have a range of 100m and the fish in hotspots are generally deeper than that, are there any plans to make a version of this that can deploy with the net?
