Made a brand new reskin for every enemy in the game (aside from Sweeper and Splitter because they're impossible, oh and Heptagon)
It's my design, not Torcado's (no disrespect to him)
A better design would be like something like this: an empty diamond with just the outline matching with the color of the prism and for the inner one : leave it like it is.
We have lives away from this mod, and as I said earlier, this mod is just fine as it is.

- These wouldn't be good changes for Prism
- This is broken and does not make sense. There are many situations where you could get stuck and punished.
- Prism is the boss. The fractals are controlled by Prism. They are not their own living entities and are powered by Prism. Without Prism, they cannot function. The original plan was for Prism to have damage reduction rather than full invincibility but it just didn't end up working out as you are able to entirely skip through both Phase 2 and Phase 3
Also the fractals coming together after you beat the boss to be a bigger boss doesn't make sense either.
As I've said previously, Prism is essentially a perfect boss right now. Nothing other than bugs and balancing really, but I do appreciate everyone giving suggestions
- We've mentioned before how there are issues with making them stay on screen. His HP is a bit imbalanced but they are meant to be a tank
- The lasers are fine
- Do you mind elaborating on the warning line 20 degrees thing? I'm not sure if this is a suggestion or a bug. If it's a suggestion, then no. Prism pin points your last location in an attempt to punish you. Having them track you would mean it would hit you every time. If it's a bug, put it in bug reports please.
- Laser will not split in 2.
- Prism's lasers are massive. Kill a fractal wrong and that deflected laser will be a death sentence. It wouldn't work
- Don't get what you mean by "laser curves away from entities". They don't hurt enemies, only you. No point in them curving.
someone suggested making prism and its orbitals die when prism dies, but this would not work, what if, when prism dies the orbitals DO die but instead shatter and converge into a harder version. this version would be harder than prism but faster to kill. its would shoot booth lots of "wiggly lazers" that would be randomly shot out when the ball of shattered crystals take damage, they would be shot out not proportional to the damage dealt but to the bullets hit. and its main attack would be several versions of the same attack witch, a lazer. it would randomly select 1 modifier:
-no initial changes but before firing the "warning line" would shift toward the player 20 degrees before fireing
-lazer splits in 2
-once lazer hits the edge of the window do a delayed ricochet with warning
-lazer curves away from entitles
-"warning lines" apper but lazer comes 3 sec later
-lazer fails ind insted creates 3-4 "wiggly lazer" in the general direction
-lazer fires then stops for 1/4 sec and re-aims at the player within 30 degrees, repeated 3 times
I doubt this will be added but if it were, then dang.
also if this mod is abandoned then why not make more characters and upgrades?
and what if those up grades had some draw backs? and were also synegetic?
1. When prism dies, all other fractals will die. This is because the fractals are different elements of light created by Prism, so without it's main light source, they lose power and die.
2. This removes the whole aspect of "self defence" boss. Killing the main enemy but the shield is still active and fighting removes the entire concept of protection.
3. What would then happen if you broke a fractal without Prism present? No beam of light would occur to punish you for your brash actions.
4. It removes progression. Prism has 3 different phases. If you kill off the center, it removes that progression into both phase 2 & phase 3, since Prism needs to be present for them to work.
5. This idea kinda infringes on Slimest, since their fighting style comes from becoming more enemies.
I had a custom stat for the total number of Prism's killed which would increase in the kill function before it actually killed Prism, and what I was told is that if the game called the stat, and it wasn't in your stats file on your computer, then it would automatically add the stat.
The issue was that apparently, I was told wrong and it doesn't add the stat automatically, meaning it got stuck on the line that increased the stat, meaning it would never call the function that actually despawns the boss in game.

for raymankai, the final phase should just be that, theres really no gimmick so it might have something to do with how it detects the final phase i will need to check that out

furthermore, fractals are damageable when launched at you
All these things considered = a well balanced character that takes skill and caution to defeat

Nyx has halt access
Bastion has torrent
Epsilon is strong enough to go head to head while using bellow to keep enemies away
:) can multi-target a single fractal for maximum damage
