@WalterJabsco As far as I remember, update from disk should apply to your current save. There are some limitations to that. Exits should be included. Sounds like yours did not update. In the update, there are no exits (going back to town) in Rodericks Tomb or Nightmare. Once your in, there is no going back, only onward.

Hey. Another teleporter error. In Roderick's tomb; used the blue teleporter to the right to go down to the rest spot. Tried to return to the main level and I got: Error Message: The target entrance index is invalid: 1. And then the game crashed to the menu screen.

I started from an autosave, and I don't see any way to move from the central part of the tomb to the left side where I can see there is more map.

I know you made an update, as I get a message that says the versions are not matched...but it also says to use disk. Is there a method for using the update without losing the saved game?

Found an autosave from the point where Rayna handed the scimitar to the party; same thin happened:

Walk to stairs up (blue teleporter) ; get three navigation choices:
- Doors of Binding
- Tanglewood
- Rayna's Hideaway

Choose Rayna's Hideaway
- on that level, walk to stairs up (where the party originally came down)
- click on door

Error Message: The target entrance index is invalid: 2 (I think I have this right).
The game exits to the menu screen.

@WalterJabsco Should all be fixed now. The Rayna one you described seemed to set correctly, not sure about the error message. Maybe try that one again and let me know if there is still an error.

Found another one!

Picked up the sword from Rayna; returned to the teleporter to leave; and was presented with 3 options: Doors of Binding, Tanglewood, and Rayna's Hideaway.

I chose the third one. I ended up on the previous level...I decided to use the exit at the other end of the map (the one I originally entered from) and I got an Error Message.

After going back in, I believe it was the Skaelin Outskirts.

I started from an autosave, and things seem to be fine...I did not go back to the Skaelin Camp map.

@WalterJabsco To be clear you left the Tanglewood and that led to a game over screen? Sounds like I didn't save an exit properly. Was it the initial area of the Tanglewood or the following area with Rayna's Manor?

Lninefingers, once again you have created a fantastic module.

I did just encounter a very odd problem.

They're in Bevinshir. I managed to deal with the reskinned Soraks (at Level 7) and I had to decide how to deal with Snurr. Instead I balied and went off and dealt with Devan's problem. As I was loaded down with piles of loot I returned to Nowarre directly, using the navigation from the blue square.

I returned to Beveshir and decided to go to the alternate instead of Tanglewood, when I left that map I got the Game Over screen even though I am nowhere near finishing!

Anyways, I will try again from a save point, and go straight to the Tanglewood.

@TheTavorean Thank you. I kept most of that implied and hidden in earlier iterations. I felt as if sharing some of that lends itself to a more gratifying experience for the player. Part of the reason is because I had a sequel in mind, but that is no longer going to happen. As for Solasta 2, as far as I am aware there will be no custom campaign maker attached. Even if there is, it's highly doubtful I will ever use it.

Just finished the updated version. A masterpiece of narrative design. The revelations put the story in a different light. Can't wait to see what you do in Solasta 2.

While I have never tested the game with a 2 character party, if you have been able to use group teleporters thus far, I don't see why that one shouldn't work. When you exit Stratis' dwelling, the gravestones are directly east. They are grouped by themselves against the eastern fencing.

The teleporter is invisible, you won't see it, but it becomes "active" at this point in the quest.
It should work like any other group teleporter, same as some of the ones in the crones lair.

Hello there, i'm facing a problem in the campaign, and i wonder is there is any way for me to fix it and continue playing it

When it's time to head to bevenshir, the game asks the party to stand between the gravestones, on the magic yellow circle obviously

However, i am playing using only 2 characters via the unfinished business mod, and i cannot continue, because when i place my two characters on the circle, nothing happens

Is there anyway for me to fix/bypass this to continue the campaign? i tried summing creatures to see if they counted as players but to no avail

@Derrilin Thank you for hanging in there through all my madness. The two swords are Communion and Winter's Pale as you probably correctly guessed. You don't have to equip them, just have them. The obvious spell is Fly or Levitate. Any casting method works. For the other, Ice Storm, Call Lightning or Sleet Storm work. And again, any casting method, scroll, item etc works. I think you need to be relatively close to the ruins in the forest for them to work. It's a hidden quest which triggers. Just stand in the general area, it should work.

Hey, its been a great but complicated module so far.... I've cleared mostly everything (the Spider Queen and Giant fight was challenging on the hardest difficulty)... I'm now stuck on accessing the coliseum. I've got the two swords and the obvious spell but I only have sorcerers in the party and so am relying on scrolls to get the last weather related spell but i'm not finding the correct one.

Thank you for the quick reply. I reloaded, and it seemed the fix the issue, I was able to unlock the two southern doors. I swear the first time I tried the game was telling me I had to be on the other side of the door to unlock.

As for helping the soldiers, I was just curious what I could have done for those two. I interacted with the poetry book, but nothing came from it

@Dwells in Basement After defeating The Beast (Gavlan) he drops the key to his room, inside his room is the commander's key. I assume you are referring to that key as the masters. Back outside in the courtyard, that key will unlock both doors directly south, from either direction. I've never had it lock me out from north or south, unless its a bug I've never had. Sometimes a key won't work unless it is in the lead character's inventory, so try that if you haven't.
Helping the soldiers, or not, affects nothing but the battle itself. You can't mess that part up.

I can't seem to find my way out of Carriwick Manor I completed the beast quest, and I have the master key, but I am unable to leave the manor. I was able to use misty step inside the courtyard near the fire area where there is a stone on the other side of the wall. I then sent that character with the master key to the front door in order to unlock it as you can't unlock the door from the other side of the door. I feel there must be another way out

Did I miss something in trying to help the two soldiers Martha and Hart fall in love so I didn't have to kill them. I assume you need to have a bard class, or someone with philosopher background or something similar

@whatiflobstersruled No, no, you aren't alone. This campaign has a higher drop-out rate than any of my others. The fault lies partly with me, but I wanted to try certain esoteric things here. Anyway, regarding the jailers key, he doesn't drop the key. Try looking in the cell he came out of. Also, when you free the women be sure to talk to each of them in order to update the quest. I believe the area in which you used misty-step is optional, or it may open later. I wouldn't worry about it yet.

@Lninefingers Maybe I am just too stupid for this game, in spite of my Master's. :/ I'm down in The Crones' Lair, going after the second crone. My current goal was getting the key from the jailer... but he didn't drop a key. Could you give me a hint where to find the key to the prison cells? I also Misty-Step'd behind the portcullis I could not open, but there was nothing there.

@Lninefingers the second wave almost got me but i had a bit of an op party with a pally/warlock/sorc, court mage, battle cleric and arcane ranger

just finished the module was amazing i think it edges out forsaken isle as my top campaign

Who was Surr the giant lizard? apart from the Colosseum i think i did all the side quests sure i missed a few secrets

@sophie.42 I died on my first attempt on that fight, and I'm the one who designed it. It can be tough. It largely comes down to party composition and what level you are.

@whatiflobstersruled Yeah, I was trying to make a puzzle that is partly vague but somewhat intuitive as well. I can see why it's tripping up some people. Some of the puzzles that come later are a bit better designed.

@sophie.42 Oh, that queen... Good job on finding that area, even most of my beta-testers didn't find that. If you talk to the mage, there are three options, one of them he tells you to go away and nothing happens. The other two he should say some form of "stand behind the queen and wait your turn." If you do, something should happen... After that, the door to his personal chambers will open with some high level wizard loot and a journal. That's it for that area, theres nothing else, you can turn back. It's sort of a one off, optional area.

@sophie.42 I'm not sure I understand. You spoke to Rayna, she unsealed her door of Solace. Did you return to the four sealed doors in Nowarre and go through the other door of Solace? If you did, and got the item, Stratis should tell you who to look for next.

@Lninefingers, Big fan of yours here! I'm also stuck in the library of the sleeping wizard.

Got two of my characters trapped in the room with the alcove plus swamp panorama painting, nine (9) pressure plates, and one wall button.

Two others I sent forward and barely scraped through the bookwyrm fight, but there is no way forward. Reason being, I can't have my two trapped souls escape -- the button next to the ENTRANCE door triggers closure. And the exit door -- the one next to the wall button -- has remained closed.

now stuck at the queen after getting the three statues to open the door none of the options the mage gives me seems to do anything

i guess i need to progress something else first?

@sophie.42 Place your party exactly in the middle of the waning crescent moon pattern. The teleporter is invisible, but it has been activated after you moved the bust. A party of four fits in the middle of the rune circles (in this case used as moons). As for the second serpent gem, after you complete the area you are currently in (Rayna's Hideaway) and go back to Stratis and unlock the third sealed door, The Pellar's dialogue should update regarding the other serpent eye.

also stuck on the moon puzzle have opened the door with the floor panels and moved the bust to the waning moon and got the words a gust of wind went to the middle of the waning moon but cant seem to activate a teleporter

@benjamin_gerardo The gravestones are directly east of Stratis' home. They have a little stone border around them. You just place the party right before them. As far as the Maberton cave if you decided to fight and kill Gunder, the taller man with a crossbow drops a note and key. That will get you into the cave. The quest also updates when you loot both of those. If you chose to intimidate Gunder and were successful, the quest fails.

@Lninefingers, thanks for the tip, got through that part. Now I am in the 3rd door quest but I don't think the teleport between the stones in the graveyard is working. I stepped in between but nothing happened. Also, I found a location called Bear Cave in Maberton swamp but there is no square for an entrance. Is that a side quest location? If so, its not working.

@Lninefingers thanks for that. I managed to find the ogre with the book and finish that quest. Now, my party is in Maberton in the crones' lair. And I am stuck again with the password-asking goblin. It seems none of the 4 passwords work. Is it a glitch or I need to give the right password the first time?

@benjamin_gerardo There are two large, square rooms filled with bookcases and books on the ground. The one with the book on tactics which grants you experience in the southeast corner (you have to move a block to get to it) is the room you want to be in. North of that room is a teleporter doesn't work until you step on a floor plate at the very north of that room. Activate it and step on that teleporter. It will take you where you need to go.

There's a square in the SE corner of the big library room west of the long corridor that lights up when I press the ALT button but I cannot click on it to open it up.
