Honestly I say keep the halo because that really plays well into the name and such and adds a cool aesthetic. I do agree with Qon that the model it self just needs to be polished and retextured so it can look better but overall I love the design and would absolutely love to see this set in game.

Nice design idea except for the ring, it looks out of place.
Bad textures. Low res, not shiny, doesn't look like metal.
Model needs more work. Low poly and details are too thick to resemble plate.
Overall it looks like it's made out of styrofoam. If you redesigned the halo completely or removed it and just polish everything else then this would be great.
