Will this be made compatible with exvent? they get the hair but not the human faces.

Say can you have it support the Non-Skirmisher ADVENT Hybrids from RealityMachina?

To restore the names you go to your Localization folder and copy paste the lines with the names but you change the template name to the new one so you again have both.
Zephyr 24. maj kl. 4:47
Oh I didn't realize I needed to change the template name as well, my bad. It's working now, although all the khajiit skirmisher faces have lost their names and are just face 12-20 (which strangely becomes face 0 once equipped?) but that's a minor inconvenience at best, thanks for the help, have some awards. c:

You have both lines correct? One ending in CharacterTemplate="Soldier" the other in CharacterTemplate="SkirmisherSoldier", with a different TemplateName but the same ArchetypeName and everything else.
Zephyr 23. maj kl. 13:02
Ok so I tried to do what your last comment said to add the khajiit heads to skirmisher, and although it did work, it removed them from the regular soldier cosmetic pool, how do I enable them for both at once?
AgRipnus  [ophavsmand] 1. feb. kl. 4:40
Yes there is. First you have to find the original config entry of the head you want to add. (Starts with +BodyPartTemplateConfig=) you copy the entire line and paste it right underneath. The only thing you have to change is the TemplateName="" so it's not identical, and at the end make it CharacterTemplate="SkirmisherSoldier".

Thank you! Is there any way to add custom faces as well to their races available? I have several heads I want to use, but can't.
Oranos 20. dec. 2024 kl. 14:21
So i can change the head, but i have no hair options.

You should check you launch.log file and see if you spot what the game is trying to load before crashing.
Robotron 6. okt. 2024 kl. 13:04
And no I didn’t have a skirmisher with a human head.
Robotron 6. okt. 2024 kl. 13:03
No it was after i loaded the game and went to a random soldier and opened hair/facial hair then crash. But on the character pool menu it works just fine.
AgRipnus  [ophavsmand] 6. okt. 2024 kl. 12:58
Did you remove the mod while having a skirmisher that was using a human head?
Robotron 6. okt. 2024 kl. 12:54
Okay so I double checked. It turns out it doesn’t crash at the charactet pool but when I load up my save. So i’m betting it has to do with the interchanging mods I had that is crashing it and not the mod itself. So probably setup your characters beforehand ladies and gentlemen.
Robotron 6. okt. 2024 kl. 12:15
Yes
AgRipnus  [ophavsmand] 4. okt. 2024 kl. 10:37
Do you have Highlander installed? I've been using this since I made it without issues.
Robotron 4. okt. 2024 kl. 8:52
The game crashes when you enter hair or facial hair menus.
WildCard 2. okt. 2024 kl. 15:47
Finally, ACTUALLY genetically modified humans.
Hatsune Marineku 17. juni 2024 kl. 6:26
You're a hero, I can't believe this has so few downloads.
Nunchuck Monkey 27. maj 2024 kl. 11:50
I can't believe nobody has made a mod like this before. Great job!
effusivemind 29. apr. 2024 kl. 8:53
I can confirm this mod is working currently. Also, it doesn't appear to be impacting human faces on other soldiers.

It conflicts with the Gender Bias - WotC mod, so if you were using that for your hero classes to be male/female, you will have to disable it for the game to run properly
AgRipnus  [ophavsmand] 25. apr. 2024 kl. 10:38
It was indeed an issue with this mod. The game didn't like having duplicate names so now I included a localization file to internally distinguish the human faces. Should be fixed now, let me know if it wasn't.

MAJOR ISSUE

Installing this has removed all the base (human) heads from their respective lists, leaving only the modded ones.

When browsing in the existing Pool, all seems OK, until you open the 'Heads' lists or try to change a face. The you see it.

Note: Yes, I do run a lot of mods, most of them cosmetic. However, this was the only relevant one I subscribed to in the past week, and before that all was fine.
effusivemind 24. apr. 2024 kl. 20:04
Great to see this. I've had to edit the game files to get human heads on them. It had me thinking, "I guess I'm the only one who wants to play a human Skirmisher?" Apparently not!

Looking forward to trying this soon
tommy 24. apr. 2024 kl. 6:51
appreciate for your work ! thanks
Mille 24. apr. 2024 kl. 3:49
You've tackled a nitpick I've had for a long time! Big slap fave
AgRipnus  [ophavsmand] 23. apr. 2024 kl. 9:23
I'm not sure if you are referring to a base game or a modded head. To make any modded head (or other part) show up in the Skirmisher menus:
1) Go to that mod's XcomContent.ini
2) Find the +BodyPartTemplateConfig line of the part you want
3) Copy that line and paste it right below (so you have 2, one for the regular soldier that's to be left unchanged and one for the skirmisher)
4) Replace the last ")" with ", CharacterTemplate="SkirmisherSoldier")" for the copy.
Mandy the Cybersphinx 23. apr. 2024 kl. 4:14
Does this add the extra 'clone renegade' heads that don't have the metal nodes and wrinkles on the face?
Fernando 22. apr. 2024 kl. 18:37
I've been looking for a mod that does this for ages. Thank you.
Max 22. apr. 2024 kl. 13:04
This fixes a very niche problem with some of my anthro cosmetics in that if i allow their fur to be colored with Hair Tint but someone makes a Skirmisher with those cosmetics, they won't be able to color the fur as Skirmishers have no hair by default, so therefore they have no hair tint option. Excellent work.
