If I had to guess, that might be an issue with another one of your mods changing the main menus in some way, but I'm not sure. Make sure to reinstall FP:DC and restart L4D2 if you haven't already. Sorry I can't be more helpful!
This campaign does not include any custom models or textures for pipes -- they're all default, vanilla assets. Either your installation messed up somehow and you should try reinstalling or you played with a custom mod/server that caused a conflict.
