Love the radio chatter, adds that sweet immersion when i'm chilling

They should totally ad a PA system to the game. Could be a nice little thing for RP.

It would be nice to have real immersive radio voices, like the radios in Project Zomboid.

this is true the mod does work its just so quiet i could not hear it over everything going on in the sub. i swear it use to be much louder

Keep in mind that the radio chatter volume is very low, because it is in fact, an ambient sound, and it would get annoying if it were any higher.

The actual chatter sound may not begin immediately after you install the UHF Radio but after a few seconds, you will start to hear it.

I don't know if you need to click on the radio object after being placed, to start the chatter sound, i just click on it either way.

Can you add sound variations for it?
Like if toggled like for example emergency, it will voice out that kind of scenario.

Actually I can't get it to work in SP either. Do I need to turn it on somehow? Does it need power? When I place it there's no sound at all. I have music volume turned down almost to 0 but even when I turn it up I can't hear any radio chatter.

Doesn't seem to work in MP? Unless I have it in a weird load order. I place it but no radio chatter happens.

The audio needs to be in Mono instead of Stereo for it to be muffled behind walls and directional.
You can also use various tools online to seperate "vocals" from any type of audio, not just music and be able to make something like this;

my only issue with the mod is the INSANE loud humming, its deafening

I couldn't, for the love of me, make it louder. I tried upping the volume of the file itself, almost until it clipped, to no avail. Also, the volume setting on the .xml file doesn't seem to do anything... If you figure out a way to up it... I would be really glad to know!

I use Soundproof walls! That's why in the video, the chatter is not audible when the door is closed! Try it! It's a really nice mod!

Cool mod, the only problem is that the radio chatter audio plays everywhere regardless of where your distance is to the radio.
