@Panzerfaust That's a known bug, it has to do with the way text is displayed in game, the game insta crashes if it doesn't understand a symbol it's supposed to display. I've looked over the localization files with other people several times and the issue doesn't seem to be on my end, but if another mod has a broken version of the string even if that mod doesn't use it for anything (in this case, it's either the riposte duration percent or while NOT Marked stings), it can override the working string and make the game crash. You should be able to fix it by installing one of the many tooltip fixer mods and placing it at the top of your mod list. At this point, I should just make it a custom tooltip so this stops happening.

There is a bug that crashed the game instantly every time when i hover my mouse pointer over the Dwarven Liquor trinkets.

Oh, awesome. That's on me then. I edited her file so she no longer appears in the stage coach and I should only see her for random events. All I did was change the line from "true" to "false" but didn't think it would have other repercussions. Learning!

I just checked on a new save and everything is good. Thanks again for bringing the Dungeon Meshi team to Darkest Dungeons!

@Dood! Talked it out with some other modders, think I found the issue. You should be able to fix it be going into her files and deleting the modfiles.txt then unselecting the extra skills, it should be fixed on all the Namaris afterward. It's a glitch that occurs when you edit files in the mod, but don't remove the modfiles.txt. Do you have a non-steam version installed or make edits to her files yourself? I need to know in case I need to fix the MEGA and/or Nexus versions.

It looks like this for me. On the Skills menu, she has all the skills selected. In a dungeon, the skill bar extends into the inventory and map box. They're selectable also, though the tooltips for the inventory menu overlaps.

On seeker recruit, her skills are normal, with only 4 selectable. If I recruit her at a higher level, then this bug happens.

@Dood! That's strange, that's a glitch that usually happened when modes aren't implemented properly, but she doesn't use any. Do you have any screenshots of this that I can use for troubleshooting?

I just noticed that I have all her skills all at once in an extended bar instead of getting to choose only 4. I thought that was normal until I saw your screen shots and she only has 4. It looks like it does this when you recruit her at a higher rank.

Your mod appears to have an error. Your \shared\buffs\dwarfu.buffs.json file has many instances of the stat type "hp_heal_dot_percent", but that is not a valid stat type. The correct stat type is "hp_heal_dot_amount_percent". It is highly likely that most if not all of your restoration increases are not working. I noticed this from the debug messages I got when I first loaded your mod.

@Nemesis It's got to be an issue with the text strings for either the riposte duration or "while not marked" buffs/debuffs, since that's the only thing that could cause a crash just by looking at it.But I've looked at the strings for both and they both seem to be correct. Only other thing I can think of is that I had the Sunward Isles mod installed so I could test trinkets for that and it overrid whatever the broken string was. I'll keep digging.

Same issue, however, I don't use Fixest Dungeon and it's the same aforementioned liquor as well.

In my case, it happens to be the only trinket reward among two others in The Mountain mod that causes CTD. Haven't isolated the exact issue yet.

@Snoop Duck yea i had all dlc enabled and i actually use fixest dungeon that have tooltip fixer included, but i'll try use it standalone

@Masos It seems to be the same issue the Half-foot has with his trinket with similar effects, but I can't pin down exactly what's causing it. It's something with the tooltips since people have reported using a tooltip fixer mod has solved it, but all the tooltips look correct in the loc file. I recommend downloading one of those for now and seeing if that fixes the issue. Did you have any dlc installed with this mod active? It was tested with all dlcs on, so that might be a factor.

Another awesome dwarf and this time, its a lady mercenary who is all about the loot, riches and paying her insurmountable debts. She works hard from any rank and her quips and camping skills put her well above the original crew. Thats the way we roll.

@gphomeslice Sorry for responding so late, I didn't get a notification for some reason. I will at some point in the future, it won't be too hard, but it will be time consuming and right now I'm trying to focus on the new mod I'm currently working on.

Seems like the description of the Bodyguard Contract has the same issue as the Dungeon Chef had? The game crashes when I hover the trinket reward.

@Cruzonio I did have plans for non-spoiler Falin as a hero but I had a lot of doubts when it came to my design. As for monsters, I am currently experimenting with making monster mods since I've never made one before. Oddly enough, it's looking like Leed will end up being my first monster mod, as every other Meshi monster worth adding would be much more complicated to make.

Are you planning on adding Falin as a boss or a character?

I did end up making an Alt skin where she doesn't wear pants as a test to check my own art skills, I'm not about to give up my day job, but it's up on the MEGA as a separate mod if that's your thing. I might end up putting it on Steam, but right now I'm not sure if it's good enough for that. There's also an 18+ version of it, it's clearly labeled and both can be used together.

#핏발선눈알 I do have more planned, yes, it will likely be either Shuro or Falin next, but both have their own set of issues when it comes to development. Shuro's design should be straight forward as far as programming the gimmick I came up with for him, but will require a lot of extra art assets, making the mod very expensive, but otherwise doable. Falin is one I've been planning for awhile, but I'm never able to get her design doc 100% finished, my current attempt is at about 95%. I've mentioned before that I had a design doc for Kabru that I really liked, but the fans I've talked to want the other two first.

Maybe I'm asking this frequently here, but are you planning another dungeon meshhi hero or extra mod? cause i had a lot of fun. thanks

It became a little clearer what causes the assert failed error.
For some reason, if you launch the game through the Steam client, then everything is fine. However, if you run it from the folder with the game installed(for me it steamapps/common/darkestdungeon/_windows/darkest.exe, this error begins to appear.

No, the error continues to occur on the old copy of the game, but it does not appear on the freshly installed one.
This may be due to one of the mods that must be installed manually.

For currency buffs, it might be a big ask but any chance of Exaelus' Arduous Edition support? It only adds one gem, but it also has a change so it has a different icon depending on the number of gem stacks you have (stack of 1 just shows a single one on the icon, 2 shows 2 etc, and I don't know if that would mean a ton of extra work if you wanted to support this overhaul, so totally understand if that's too much work!

@hermit07 If it's an consolation, I just got a similar error message while testing something else with the mod and was able to fix it, don't know if it's exactly the same issue, but give it a try now.

@rekireki I really need to stop doing most of my testing with on lvl 1 missions. Anyways, I was able to finish her second color, inspired by the Dark Iron Dwarves, a little sloppy is some places, but I think I'm the only one that knows where to look.
