@Dirty Dan Sorry for the late reply! Yes, you can open the upgrade panel, and even though a price for the upgrades is shown, in reality it's free to upgrade them. But it's only for the minor Cathay factions! All your other upgrade mods work well with minor factions though, this is the only one...

@Homia4ok can you elaborate on the free upgrades please? Are those the same updates as the main faction gets but with no costs attached? The missing panel container issue is easily fixable but the free upgrade stuff shouldn‘t happen at all

Dan, the mod is really cool and works well too! From what I've seen it works only with playable factions, and minor factions (Mixu's unlocker) don't have it set up (The panel with Taiji above isn't shown and there's free upgrades). Could you add it to all Cathay factions during the next update, if it's not a bother? Pretty please~

@xarlie skaven probably not since it would snowball too hard with ikkits workshop, eshin dealings and throt's fleshlab. But dark elves will be the next mod once I start modding this game again

@fdream it is not supposed to work with any modded units without respective submod. Only CA units are supported by default

Hi @Dirty Dan, firstly awesome mod!! I'm having issues using Taiji, I have enough Taiji but can't seem to upgrade my units, the box is greyed out and the value is showing in red, although I have a large Taiji surplus, how and where do I go to upgrade this unit? Is there a trick to it by any chance like i.e. needs to be garrisoned?

Yeah, it technically works, i did test that i could upgrade one of the starters. Just cant see how much taiji i hav, so i suppose ill just use CE to make that number really big

@Tal'Raziid the Taiji resource holder will only appear for the 3 playable major cathay factions. The upgrade button for unit upgrades should appear for all factions with the grand cathay culture. All cathay factions should also get the Taiji resource by default even if the holder in the topbar does not appear, so it should technically work.

@Darkroute i can make no promises on when this can be fixed. CA's implementation of the new unit upgrade UI is quite restrictive

The recent overhaul of the Scrap system has caused mods based on this system to malfunction. While the mods still work, the upgrade UI has disappeared, making upgrades impossible. Please take note of this issue.

After getting a bit frustrated, I've given up and managed to change the upgrade costs in RPFM. (which works as a workaround)

@whitehatjawa daemons of chaos maybe, warriors of chaos is a safe no at the moment, since the warband upgrade system removes all unit upgrades and I don't see how this could work out without feeling punishing or obsolete
