Hey Bar, I was thinking. Think Neo could work? Been thinking about it since I remembered she was in Cross Tag Battle and I always loved her fighting style.

Yup, great job on you, Bar, and sonic for bringing her to fruition. Definitely one of my favorites visually and gameplay wise. Her and Kumaki (by Innerotaku) are the best big scythe characters in workshop and play very differently.

As for the jab 3 there are a few on the base cast whom possess a jab 3 that true combos: Orcane, Ori, Olympia, and Etalus; so out of the 11 who have a jab 3, only 4 of them true combo. Based on this I wouldn't call non true jab 3's the standard, but you also said you designed Ruby specifically with that in mind so that's fine as is. Personally I mainly use her jab 3 for edge guarding. Otherwise I just cancel jab 1 into d-tilt to get my grounded combo starters.

I've seen some ask about being able to tech out of the second hit of her jab. This is an intentional design choice, it's fairly standard among rivals characters for jab 3s to not be true. I actually learned about this while I was working on Ruby, haha.

Ruby is a lot of fun to play, the art and sprite work are super great. her alts are also really nice looking even if they mostly are recolors to my knowledge. Her final smash is great and i really like how it includes Team Rwby instead of just her. While I don't get much millage out of the dust swapping since i mainly stick to fire, its a really cool gimmick and i love how it changes the distance of moves like side special or the recoil of other moves. I like the style shown in moves like down strong with the pose or her side b, it has a lot of flair that i really appreciate. the miiverse posts are so cool too, really like how they are notes from Rwby's friends. Sadly the jab not being true makes it really hard to test while not in a real match so i hope that can get patched eventually. Overall she's once of my favorite characters, she just feels so polished and so does her stage aswell. Great job!

@senou Natsuru, i know this issues aswell but tbf it doesn't come up as often as you'd think in a real match, only reason bots tech out of it is cause they're bots, a real player wouldn't beable to tech out nearly as consistently, and honestly and easy solution is to just knock the opponent into the air before you jab.

Not sure if this intended, but you can tech out of her jab combo after the second hit. A level 9 AI character will ALWAYS do this if they're onstage.

unsubscribe and re subscribe, this is literally the most common bug with workshop characters.

I don't know why but the mod is buggy for me. Quite often only alts #1 to #8 are available (except #7) all the alts following #8 are not available unless I uninstall, then reinstall the mod.
It's weird because it's the only mod that does that on my game, if you have a solution I'm interested

Hey, just letting you know that Ruby's Final Smash doesn't seem to be compatible with more than 2 players. It permanently freezes the character not hit by the Final Smash.

Thanks for the update! @neurosis51 the Mod author put it as a disucssion rather than as a normal changenote, it's a pretty big update.

@themeganintenbro Have you ever considered adding more voice lines with slightly higher audio quality? You can use the Paladins RWBY skin voice lines as a really good source, they should be all on the paladins wiki.

What was changed in the update????

I love this mod a lot! I actually really enjoy a lot of the mods from each of the members who made this mod. I don't know what the process is when it comes to making characters for this game. Like does someone say "Let's do this character!" or is it a commission? Either way, you guys are amazing! A character I really want to see be added to the game is Zagreus from the game "Hades". I just love the quality of your guys' work and if Zagreus was added to the game, he'd have to be good quality.

If there was something I need to rant about is the range of the neutral special. It doesn't have as much range as, in my opinion, should have. It kinda needs a small buff, like between 25 and 50% more range.

Other than that, FINALLY A GOOD RUBY, been waiting a long time for one. Great character overall, love the side special, both ground and air. Thank you for not making neutral special and the recover share ammo, hated, loathed that from the other version. Found my 5th main.
