Hi @Yatem !
I wanted to use your design in my survival world, but sadly your save was corrupted :(
So I made a version of your ship following the images you provided :D

finally got around to recreating this ship, and well while im trying to keep it as close to the orginal as possible im trying to figure out where the power is and how to pipe everything up, externally it will be true to how its suppose to look except for turrets so it can defend it self, but the internals will change since i have no way of finding the ship internals at the moment
Eevee 17 May, 2020 @ 5:18pm
aye will do, might take time because to make sure they are survival ready i try to make them in survival.
Yatem  [author] 17 May, 2020 @ 4:09am
@willow Occult Go ahead, just make sure to credit me/ link the original ships :)
Eevee 16 May, 2020 @ 4:27pm
could i talk about a ship im working on kind of based off a few of your designs, mostly permissions to use a few of their external features, oh and transform a ship into a destoryer.
Porgyporg 11 Feb, 2019 @ 6:31pm
@Yatem Ok cool, i have made your other Xedus ships in BPs and with your permission i will upload them, i will credit you in the description of course, and thanks for the reply :D
Yatem  [author] 11 Feb, 2019 @ 11:45am
@Porgyporg Thanks for your kind words, I'm glad you like my ships! I'm been pretty busy lately with college but I've been meaning to come back to this game. Unfortunately Many of the ships you see on my workshop page have been lost completely if the workshop world is corrupted as I lost all of my local blueprints a while back :(
Porgyporg 1 Feb, 2019 @ 5:56pm
Hey Yatem, are you ever going to update all these ships? They are some of my fav on the workshop.
Yatem  [author] 14 Feb, 2017 @ 4:08pm
Huh, this is from several years ago so the save might have been corrupted @Wolffe
Siringo 31 Jan, 2017 @ 7:25pm
Its nowhere in the world ???
Sir Fartsalot 10 Jun, 2015 @ 5:02am
@BadBacon & @Yatem - No problem, I understand. =)

It's actually not a big issue. I've been working on a 'decommissioned' Ursae frigate as my mining cruiser. I removed the front rocket launcher cluster and converted it into a construction and hangar bay, and added a landing pad (large landing legs flipped over) on the top hull. The fairly straight through design of the Ursae class works well with my design aesthetic, and the fact that it already has refineries, assemblers, etc. already piped in means there was very little work to do to convert it for my purposes. I haven't plumbed in oxygen systems yet, as I'm still working on hull sections (have to close up areas around the conveyor ports, etc.) but when I'm done it'll be a good survival platform. Thanks again for the design Yatem!

@BadBacon Yeah you about summed it up, I built this before Xedus became my survival fleet and it needs updating. The drones are also pretty messed up as at the time I didn't exactly know how they worked. It really was a learning experiance haha.
Dread Naught 9 Jun, 2015 @ 2:54pm

@Sir Fartsalot this ship isnt survival ready you need to manualy adapt it and add a few things like conveyors and accesability if you had posted that message a week ago i would have uploaded mine for ya unfortunatly i cleared out by blueprints other day.

@FERNANDO your quite right they dont best option delete all drones exept 1 redesign it alittle (conveyors) and set up your own groups.

quite a few of his early works are not conveyored up its not difficult to edit them and add a personal touch ( try black and gold looks nice)
Sir Fartsalot 5 Jun, 2015 @ 4:05am
A quick initial issue. In survival, you need to be able to access inventories, and I have yet to find any way to access the reactor easily (heck, I can't even find the reactor.)

I do like the stripped down nature of this design however, it's a fairly lightweight ship for what it is, compared to some of the overbuilt designs for carriers posted elsewhere on the workshop, and I love the design aesthetic of all of your ships.
Fernando 3 Feb, 2015 @ 2:05pm
Ok I must be missing something but how do I get in control of the drones? they don't seem to be set up/have any groups...
XenosParadox 14 Oct, 2014 @ 6:46am
Could you explain how you programmed the button panels of the large ship to control groups on the drones? I love your ship and have been trying to figure out how you did that.
ZeroPoint 1 Oct, 2014 @ 9:46am
This is my favorite ship and carrier class ship! Thank you!
JD.Horx 30 Sep, 2014 @ 6:16am
Really nice design and good engineering :D and Im also a big fan of drones.
Just my thoughts: Maybe you want add a drone that is really full automatic, with a reloadable rocket launcher. And maybe an automatic repair bay. At the moment your drones will need "humans" to get repaired and rearmed after a battle (at least you need to refill the rocket launchers manually...)

But again: thats a really awesome design you have there :)
Blackheart 29 Sep, 2014 @ 11:10pm
very simplistic but it looks nice
Anseris 29 Sep, 2014 @ 9:52am
I've been wanting to do this with the Battle Drones i've been making awesome work!
2kFlip (HEGUFE) 29 Sep, 2014 @ 7:39am
how to use the drones?
Drek 28 Sep, 2014 @ 1:56pm
Amazing color scheme, original design, and extremely detailed!
Hakase 28 Sep, 2014 @ 1:36am
Lol, fun!
FlyKick 28 Sep, 2014 @ 1:22am
From certain angle it looks exactly like Kushan Resource Collector
djkaplan 27 Sep, 2014 @ 9:18pm
its not my style of ship but your drones are great! if you ever need any help you got a willing builder here whos made 50 plus ships. steam work shops just too confuzing for me to bother uploadingXD
Forgemaster 27 Sep, 2014 @ 2:26pm
Only one issue with this. The Drones lack block groups to make it easier to turn on its power and Thrusters. Otherwise.. this is a perfect example of what Remote control veichles can do.
Izin Mystra 27 Sep, 2014 @ 1:09pm
Maybe it's the colour scheme or the background but this screams 'HOMEWORLD'.. or just me?

Good design tho ;)
Fox 27 Sep, 2014 @ 9:25am
Wanna have carrier battles?
Darkabus 27 Sep, 2014 @ 8:25am
The carrier looks incre-duh-bull. Good job.
Chad Hendrixs 27 Sep, 2014 @ 8:23am
its so sleak
Sausage 27 Sep, 2014 @ 5:20am
@™ʍopɐɥSʎɥʇlıℲ - copy stuff? or publish your world?

save you world

exit and do not save

then publish your world, (publish is in the list under "load" "delete" etc.

if u save and exit, u get a black screen on the workshop, so if u "save" then "exit without saving", whatever you were looking at when you saved will appear as a thumbnail image on the workshop page.

I really like this ship, so clean and really natural to SE imo.
Hirmikss™ 26 Sep, 2014 @ 8:13pm
and the ship looks kind of like a mother ship from homeworld but i love it ;w;
Hirmikss™ 26 Sep, 2014 @ 8:12pm
Hey how do i copy stuff 2 workshop? (cant find it)
Yatem  [author] 26 Sep, 2014 @ 8:10pm
Thanks for all your kind words everyone!
Sidro 26 Sep, 2014 @ 6:55pm
This is a really, REALLY, nice design... its so simple but so nice!
Sausage 26 Sep, 2014 @ 4:46pm
This design seem to really chime with all the stuff we use in SE. Great ship. :)
Panics 26 Sep, 2014 @ 2:57pm
I like it. It maintains a simplisitic look without being too barebones or boring. Even the paintjob stays true this style. Very nice!
PhantomLancer 26 Sep, 2014 @ 12:49pm
this looks like a ship on homeworld
RavenS95 26 Sep, 2014 @ 10:24am
I think it looks good! The colours suite it anyway.
Aegrim 25 Sep, 2014 @ 5:11pm
Very cool
Simon 25 Sep, 2014 @ 8:22am
To design a ship simple like you did is very difficult.Very nice work!
Eddy 25 Sep, 2014 @ 4:16am
looks like we got an engineer designer here. simple yet nice looking. but if i may correct you. superlight if so
Tiffis 24 Sep, 2014 @ 4:24pm
Wow, that is probably the simplist ship I have ever seen, yet it serves it perpose and does what it needs to do. Good job.
Agent Orange Juice 24 Sep, 2014 @ 2:40pm
It's amazing how good such a simple ship can look!
|LAME| MEAT 24 Sep, 2014 @ 5:12am
Wow, I love the aesthetics of this ship! It looks simple, but not unfinished like a solid grey hull ship. Superb job.
Prellentor 24 Sep, 2014 @ 3:16am
Cool
24 Sep, 2014 @ 1:16am

24 Sep, 2014 @ 1:15am
