It doesn't work, even without any other mods. I tried with de base code without adding custom dupes, it still doesn't work, it crashes at the game loading.

By the way, I think I have some mods by the creator of Mod Manager. Are they similarly error-prone/unoptimised and should I look for replacements, or would they be fine? I have stuff like No Drop and Smart Mop.

if you need a better mod screen, you can try ModProfileManager, it greatly increases mod screen performance among other improvements (no updating tho; I leave that to Mod Updater)

oh so it is Mod Manager? Good to know. And yeah some of the stuff it seems to be doing (like forcing resets for random reasons) has been annoying me a lot anyways so I'd be fine getting rid of it. The only reason I even had it was because the vanilla/default mod loader seemed to slow down a lot with more mods active and Mod Manager was MARGINALLY faster.

Keep it to mod updater and optionally either MPM or mod filter and your issues should be gone, that discord logo crash message is some ad injection of ony mod manager crashing.

Update:
There was a mod I tried to uninstall by unsubbing on Steam. Didn't work. Still lingered around like a Ghost. Purged it from the actual mod folder. Game started crashing. Not even an error screen, just actual crashing. I verified integrity. Nothing wrong. Deleted my WHOLE Steam Workshop mods folder and reinstalled it all. Still crashed. Then I decided to delete the entire \Documents\Klei\ folder (the save folder) and apparently that worked. So back to actually debugging my modlist I go.

Actually let me retract everything from me previous comment. I think something just failed an update. I started the game with ONLY Mod Manager, Mod Presets Manager, and Mod Updater, and loaded a preset that I KNOW for a fact loaded just fine without much error literally yesterday (it didn't include this mod), and now THAT is crashing when access the Mods menu.

Yo, are there any known compatibility issues when using Mod Manager (not with the Mod Manager itself, but possibly other UI mods)? Because I get an error log that starts off with:

'Could not find component ToolTip on object discord-logo (UnityEngine.GameObject)'

when I launch the game into the menu screen and click 'Mods' and I honest to god cannot figure out anything from this log on my own. And letting Klei disable Mod Manager, Mod Preset Manager, and Mod Updater apparently stops that.

i am also crashing after clicking on skills. I have tried disabling other mods to ensure it is not a conflict issue. this is after the 1.7.1 update

Since subbing to this mod upon launching the game it wants me to restart. When I do the game loads and it tells me to restart again. In short I'm stunk in and endless restarting loop. Anyone else have this problem? I tested it with this being the only mod I'm subbed to.

i'm having trouble getting my custom personalities to show up in the list. i even stuck a syntax error in PERSONALITIES.json and everything worked fine, just with the normal dupes. i don't know a lot about oni modding, but that seems really odd to me?
i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, deleting the mod folders and making the game recreate them, and tried putting the guide's example with dracula and carmilla in the json. still nothing.
please help !!

I have made an adjustment that "disabled" personalities will just load as hidden now, instead of not getting loaded at all, this should fix the Ceres Starts, even with Freyja disabled

I saw a comment from a Korean last year describing the same issue. It seems like they used the word "disappeared" to describe the negative trait being "없음" and you might have thought you couldn't reproduce the bug because you weren't familiar with that word. But that's just my guess.

dreamicon is the image that is displayed inside the supply closet (the somewhat simple, chibi-fied image).

I have some code in place that cobbles them together dynamically by combining the symbols, but this is just a "better than nothing" solution.

For that reason I have added the ability to the mod to load these from dupe mods, you can look at Lilys "6 more bionic dupes" mod https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3385429972 for reference.

the way this works is that the mod will look for a folder "dreamicons" and import png files inside of it that are in the format "dreamicon_[personalityId]"
