The above is the now Defunct mod I was talking about, it's relatively recent - you could add it to yours, and save yourself a lot of trouble and make the names a lot more fun.
Something like achilles should be super limited.
Too bland. Too rote. Giving this a pass until you realize that nicknames have no value unless they are representative but limited. (Limited to only a few). Forgetting the nickname mod I used in the past, but it had limitations and made each nickname rarer to encounter.
