I'm unable to save due to file permissions not being set up to allow writing in parent directories? I checked that ReShade is able to write but no luck. Anyone have success fixing similar issue?

there's no virus in reshade, it's just plugins you drop into your game folder

the add-ons menu just says "No clear operations were found for the selected depth buffer"

i did all the steps but in the end the "CLEARS 2" option doesnt appear

Also sometimes this goes hidden for couple hours or half a hour because i keep updating the Reshade preset (Automatic Content Check make the mod hidden) Also

@ALEX i use a mod that removes hud. You probably can't see your hud properly because there FX called Perfect perspective. You can modify the FOV or Remove FX to see your hud clearly. I recommend using a Payday 3 hud or Axol Bodycam mod which removes The Hud.

Oh, I already installed it again, and now it worked! But the step 4 is wrong, I put skip and that's why the effects were not installed (I think that step should be removed). Anyway, thanks for replying and solving my problem!

you should def install all the packages when reshade is installing since the preset just saves the values and effects that it's going to use

It didn't work for me. I did all the steps, I get the Iisakki's Reshade 1.0.ini and I put it in common\L4D2\bin. Then I selected your file in the game and I get this message:

"No effect files (.fx) found in the configured effect search paths: c: \program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\

Please verify they are set up correctly in the settings and hit 'Reload' !"

The Iisakki's Reshade 1.0 file is selected in the browser (ReShadePreset), I don't understand what I did wrong. I uninstalled my other mods in case they interfered but it's still the same, I couldn't get this mod to work...
