Trying to keep my mods that i have on the work shop alive by changing the game versions.
As previously stated, this kinda means im unable to change stuff. Or i basicly need to re do the whole mod. Wich is a real pain!
I try to keep my mods updated as long as possible.
I know havent uploaded any new mods in about a year. Was working on a new SD2 mod, however after long time of working on it. I sadly had to shelve it... I might re visit it later! It was a division overhaul mod.
I decided my modding for SD2 lays with AG campaigns. And not with division overhauls. So thats why i shelved my hard work that i been doing for a year...
Currently im working on a new AG campaign mod!! WIll still take sometime. But i will promise be worth the wait!
MOD USES ALL DLCS!!!
no dlc ?
I just wanted to thank you for uploading the "Battle of Berlin" mod to {連結已移除}"moddb.com". So far, it works great with the GOG (GodOldGames) version. So I also wanted to ask you if you could upload your "Battle of France" mod to {連結已移除}"moddb.com" as well? Of course only if you have the time to do so.
With kind regards,
TommyGee
@foxmarco sorry for ping
I use Notepad++ for the ndf files, And Modern CSV for the csv files.
I high likely made allied side way stronger that would be historically. But other wise might not be fun to run it over. So added quite few guns, to sort of give a maginote line feeling.
(The british armor didnt excist in the time, but felt like maby be a bit sad to not include them)
If there are some things that could be more balanced out or better unit composition, please let me know!
Im also play (testing) it with a friend atm haha.
And ye this my first mod and change i have done, so im eager to learn about it and make more campaigns in the future!
You have to go to your game files.
Mods -> CreateNewMod.bat -> File you just created -> GameData -> Generated -> GamePlay -> Decks -> Packs.ndf
In Packs.ndf you find a list of all units in every Army General all in one file, yes they all in one file. So its a bit off a mess to find the right unit and regiment. You get used to it at some point.
If you found the unit you wanna change, you just change the unit ID to the unit ID you want it to be.
Then go back to the mod file and go into the mod folder you just created, and run: GenerateMod bat.
This creates a folder in:
User -> your user name -> Saved games -> EugenSystem -> SteelDivision 2 -> Mod -> Your mod name.
You dont have to do anything here, but this is the file that lets you run the mod in the game.
Finding right ID's for units and stuff is the diffecult part.
