I did a little bit of research, and the mark on the slide says 7.62 because soviet way of measuring caliber and western way of doing so are different. western caliber measurement usually refers to diameter of bullet and grooves of rifling, which will get you a slightly larger measurement (.32 ACP is 7.65 cal.) but soviet standard is to measure by the lands of the rifling, which for that very same .32 ACP cartridge gives you a caliber of 7.63 or 7.62mm
