Another R2 entry character by the name of Voidburn is actually capable of completely disabling Silica's FSpecial. I uploaded a GIF showing exactly what I mean. bare in mind that every instance of Silica using an FSpecial under those circumstances yielded the same result; so if you're playing Silica and match into a Voidburn, just be aware.
P.S.: I don't like sand. It's course and rough and irritating... and it gets everywhere... and it wombo comboed my mother...
So, she's definitely a setup character, which I typically don't care for; but this is different. Her main gimmick is her Sand Hand, which in-and-of-itself, isn't very unique. I've seen a few characters, even among Rivals 2 entries, with allies worked into their movesets; but this is the only one I actually like. Most allies hopelessly scurry around trying to follow, attacking every time you attack; and being generally confused and hard to use. This hand however, stays put unless you move it via several movement options it has. Only a few attacks make it act, which makes turning the enemy into a volleyball for easier, as I don't have to worry about being in the lag of a move I did for my ally when my enemy is thrown to me.
She's the 'Knuckle Sand Witch'
Happy new year to everyone.
