Can you make a mod that changes the hp of military to 175 and police common to 125?
Pringles™  [ophavsmand] 23. jan. kl. 10:46
Chimichamo has some real nice mods out there, check them out! They usually have customisable configs on them, just launch the game first and let it load them from the addons menu, and then you can find them in the /ems folder.
Apollyon 23. jan. kl. 10:07
Thank you for leaving easily configurable health values
Pringles™  [ophavsmand] 31. dec. 2024 kl. 11:03
not with this, I run both
Pringles™  [ophavsmand] 15. dec. 2024 kl. 5:43
@⋁ɪʀᴜѕ™ could be your difficulty or cvar settings, or other mods. It doesnt see to happen to other players, including us. At least I dont remember that happening. Maybe for tier 2 snipers it happened, but its hard to tell during versus, and tier 2 snipers are not a very common find anyway. With horde, if tier2 snipers instakill them, at least you feel less bad about not having an automatic weapon and die a little less to uncommons :D

Steyr Scout definitely does not insta uncommons, and I think hutning rifle neither.
⋁ɪʀᴜѕ™ 15. dec. 2024 kl. 2:56
With any sniper rifle uncommons killed with one shot, even if you set health to high values. Why its happen?

I don't know why, the fire damage of CEDA on my local server and dedicated server doesn't work on Expert difficulty, and I checked the cfg to make sure the damage is not set to 0:steamsad:
Pringles™  [ophavsmand] 19. nov. 2024 kl. 5:58
@Lord301 the bricklayers are full of stiff work clothing, caked hard in the sunlight with sweat and clay dust. You will need more than a breeze to take these guys down. Glad you like the mod, its perfect for players seeking a challenge!
Lord301 18. nov. 2024 kl. 9:56
I played it in advanced realistic with another horde mod or amplified zombie population along with the Complete Population mod (along with the penetrable armor of the riot zombies): and..... it's going through hell, each horde event You are going to have to stay safe, position yourself well, and classify the weapons and in what situations it is best for you to have the shotgun, or a rifle, while the Snipers are for the special infected along with the shotguns, but for the infected, the rifles along with the shotguns will be vital to advance into combat, your biggest threat will be the bricklayers (it became a meme) because these unfortunates will be bullet sponges, even more than the chargers in a realistic way, there is even the possibility of at burst his head - decapitate him or even damage him with a melee weapon, he will get up and continue fighting (just like zombieland).
Pringles™  [ophavsmand] 17. okt. 2024 kl. 6:42
The idea itself is not bad, but it shouldnt be as strong as you describe. The weapons also have different calibers and shot mass, so it doesnt make sense from a realism point of view on that form and would need more work.

This was a paid mod with only design from me, so you'd need to buy something else from Chimi. He is a busy man though.
Doc903 14. okt. 2024 kl. 15:15
Do you do requests? I had an idea for a script that causes Common Infected and Uncommon Infected to stagger, varying depending on the strength of the gun. Basically the idea that when a zombie takes damage from a firearm, they will stagger as if shoved.

Essentially:

- Tier 1: Standard Shove, no knockdown
- Tier 2: 40-50% chance knockdown(like sometimes the Riot does)
- Tier 3: 80%-100% knockdown

Just something to make it feel like the weapons actually hit the common infected.

please add me back as a friend, i want to talk to you
Pringles™  [ophavsmand] 22. sep. 2024 kl. 13:56

Maciek504 21. sep. 2024 kl. 12:47
could you do a script that makes the common infected stronger?
Nihal Atsız 30. aug. 2024 kl. 9:26
"do not pray for easy lives my friends...pray to become stronger men"
Pringles™  [ophavsmand] 7. juli 2024 kl. 12:52
Theres already a ton of stronger specials mods out there.

I did ask Chimi for special infected skill mod, but it would be a lot of effort and maybe cost a lot.
Major Stupid 7. juli 2024 kl. 11:48
ay can u make this for special infected
Pringles™  [ophavsmand] 30. juni 2024 kl. 10:07
Nope.
normie 30. juni 2024 kl. 10:02

JOEYSTEINBACHFITNESS 17. mar. 2024 kl. 13:43
Ah I see. no problem. Thanks anyways!
Pringles™  [ophavsmand] 17. mar. 2024 kl. 13:24
In English, you either have this one, or that mod :D
ChimiChamo  [ophavsmand] 17. mar. 2024 kl. 12:40
@JOEYSTEINBACHFITNESS
the way the uncommon types are differentiated in the addon is through a netprop, and i assume that the noisemaker uncommon just reuses the gender netprop of a different uncommon so applies whatever the buff is for that one to the noisemaker. limitations amirite
JOEYSTEINBACHFITNESS 17. mar. 2024 kl. 12:38
@Pringles Thank you so much for your response! I don't see any conflicts in my addons or through my mod manager.
Pringles™  [ophavsmand] 17. mar. 2024 kl. 11:03
@joey do they conflict with each other?
JOEYSTEINBACHFITNESS 17. mar. 2024 kl. 7:37
I am using the noisemaker mod and the population mod that adds a 1-2% chance of the noisemaker to any campaign but I noticed the health boost ( and the increased in hordes only applied on the Dark carnival campaign. Is there a way to make these mods work together?)
ChimiChamo  [ophavsmand] 14. jan. 2024 kl. 13:36
@Bronyogres
the guy below you
Stephanie the snail 14. jan. 2024 kl. 13:34
who is fucking asking for this
Pringles™  [ophavsmand] 12. jan. 2024 kl. 8:27
@Bankruptcy
construction yard hard hats are not built with ballistic materials, merely blunt and sharp object resistance :) we aimed for realism with this mod.
Jerkakame² 12. jan. 2024 kl. 5:54
you make amazing script mods
Bankruptcy 11. jan. 2024 kl. 19:06
would it be possible to make construction workers helmets work like how they do in dead rising where any shot bounces off and doesn't do any damage?
[ADM] Itachi 11. jan. 2024 kl. 12:05
Riot: :steamthumbsdown::chainsaw:
Dia 9. jan. 2024 kl. 22:54
You could always make it that the riot zombies do extra damage. Since they carry the nightstick they could hit you with it
PeopleLikeStuff 9. jan. 2024 kl. 14:50
Y'know speaking of Jimmy Gibbs being brought up earlier: is it possible to do a mod giving Gibbs a chance to spawn in any campaign? Via Vscript I mean, as I know population scripts can already achieve this for maps using vanilla populations
I ask because I think it'd be neat if Gibbs could spawn as a rare pseudo-miniboss of sorts to go along with the uncommons feeling like actual elite mooks now
(I'm not really experienced with Vscript beyond simple cvar changing stuff, so I figured I'd ask a more knowledgeable modders)
Pringles™  [ophavsmand] 9. jan. 2024 kl. 11:19
@Bane I think the vomitjar passive is just that their senses are muffled. Maybe, lore-wise, the pheronomes in the vomit somehow interact with all their senses in unison.
Gameplay-wise it is a balance mechanic that the devs most likely put in so that the roadcrew zombies wouldn't be a total gimmick. I always thought they'd be blunt melee immune due to their helmet, but turns out that was just a beginner's misconception. So at least now they feel like they can be actually challenging to fight - while the molotov is useless and even detrimental with hazmats now, the others cannot pull away the roadcrew so easily, and you cannot postpone fighting them with shoves, making them a very efficient combat distraction.

This mod also works wonders in Versus if you seek extra challenging games! :boomer:
Morsch 9. jan. 2024 kl. 11:08
Glad to be of help! :steamthumbsup:
ChimiChamo  [ophavsmand] 9. jan. 2024 kl. 11:06

Morsch 9. jan. 2024 kl. 10:55
Steam doesn't like links...
ChimiChamo  [ophavsmand] 9. jan. 2024 kl. 10:48
@Morsch
go for it
Morsch 9. jan. 2024 kl. 10:44
Oh and btw, i fixed the A-posing issue. :dustwich:
Morsch 9. jan. 2024 kl. 10:43
Hey! I found out a better approach to the Roadcrew's shoving resistance, it makes him completely immune to all shoves (including ones that make zombies stumble).

Essentially he cannot stumble, and has a faster shove recovery than all other zombies.

Interested?
clem 9. jan. 2024 kl. 7:42
worst mod oat
Zadkiel 9. jan. 2024 kl. 6:09
@Bane

Pipebomb and BIle bomb share the same coding, it doesn't seem like any one can change that all these years later without Valve creating separate coding.
Bane 8. jan. 2024 kl. 19:05
Sorry i still maintain the vomit jar immunity is stupid, their nose is not covered, puke attracts infected by smell, not by sound
The Mafia 8. jan. 2024 kl. 12:44
I'm pairing this with mega hordes and uncommon on any map, while playing on expert. I'm so dead..
Pringles™  [ophavsmand] 8. jan. 2024 kl. 10:54
Riot police immune to attack from back is truly a galaxy brain idea.
No but fr I think it would fall into meme status really fast :jarate:
Skully Graves 8. jan. 2024 kl. 5:53
This is quite interesting concept. I like it,.
7ᴇᴍᴘᴇsᴛᴲ 7. jan. 2024 kl. 21:30
make Riot police immune to damage from back
APT 6. jan. 2024 kl. 5:57
I love you pringles
Pringles™  [ophavsmand] 6. jan. 2024 kl. 5:52
@PeopleLikeStuff Fallen Survivor infected are limited to 1 per map spawn in the game engine so we did not edit their features. They already carry valuable items and have a ton of health due to their combat armour and past life experience, too, making them stand out the most even with this mod.

Jimmy Gibbs infected are ultra rare - modifying would not affect 99,9% of the players. They already avoid vomit bombs, pipe bombs, are immune to flame, and cause oil splash upon hit. They have 3000 health - 3 times what a vanilla Witch has. :witch:
