Does this work for hot gas mix, for advance furnace gas?

Works great thanks

Hi Suge. Sorry, it's been a minute.

Just wanted to say thanks for the update to your code. It works awesome and I use it all the time in every save.

@Suge Hello, why don’t the pumps start, I think I did everything according to the instructions. Nothing works, what could be the problem?
Suge  [author] 26 Jan, 2024 @ 5:58am
@Obin, Fenris and OZVMANDIAS - The script has been updated and the device names now indicate what pump should be assigned to their corresponding pin. I apologise for this oversight and thanks for pointing this out.

Hi @Fenris & @Obin - I had the same issue because I had the pins for the Vol and Oxy pumps backwards. I had to read and grok the script to understand which is which.
Fenris 21 Jan, 2024 @ 4:17pm
I got the same issue as Obin.
Obin 20 Jan, 2024 @ 5:53pm
I'm guessing this no longer works as all I'm getting is 02 in the tank. The H2 pump never comes on. I've even tried changing the names around as there is no definition of what pump is 1 and what pump is pump 2.

Any help you can give would be cool.

Thanks.

@snek_man - All good bro, your comment was just fine. Didn't think for a second you were being hostile.

There are other reasons to have a perfect gas mix like if your'e running the gas fuel generator. Not having a perfect mix will impact the max wattage the generator can output. Then there's rockets etc.

My buddy is the same as you, he loves to do things manually and I can appreciate that. I really love automating things but the downside is eventually you hit that brick wall of having absolutely nothing left to do. Don't have to mine, don't have to make fuel, don't have to grow food etc. Just stand there eating and drinking. I haven't figured out a way to automate that with a script yet but I have an external program for that lol.

thing is, I in my love of solving easily avoided problems don't automate much, like the combustion centerfuges for example, as I said before your setup is respectable and I can kinda (more now thanks too you) see why you'd setup things like this, I just personally probably wouldn't due to my gameplay prefrences, and I will also say im sorry if what I said came off as hostile or me making fun of you or anything else of that nature, you made a cool thing and in the end even if I don't use things like this I know you possibly helped others :)

@snek_man - Try using a regular gas mixer when you have two gasses of different temperatures and watch what happens to your mix. Why does it matter? When running an automatic combustion centrifuge that runs on H2/N2o mix for example, not having a perfect fuel mix can cause a lot of scripts to not function. You can either create an elaborate system to equalise the temperatures of your gasses before mixing, or you can slap something like this together in a few minutes and have perfectly mixed gas regardless of temperature discrepancies.

the things people do for a little more efficiency, respectable but darn I wouldn't do anything like this:spiffo:
