Hey! Really love your map! For my entire time playing Arma 3 it has become my favorite terrain! I would like to give you a suggestion on a location within the terrain. As I saw there is a large empty area towards the north of the map next to the Chernarus/Dogechnya border. You could possible use it to create a destroyed airport which was once an international airport of Suroviy! This could be similar to the real life Sergei Prokofiev airport of Donetsk. It would be very cool and interesting to see a location like that for the first time in all of the arma mods. It would be quite unique! )

also, unlike the nvidia frame generation (DLSS) and the AMD frame generation (FSR) lossless scaling doesnt lows your resolution and doesnt impact on visual graphics

lossless scaling 2.3 had severe glitches and artifacts

but after 3.0 update, i didnt notice any glitch or artifact in none of my gameplays

i run chernarus 2020 with 80 bots and 8000 render distance in antistasi at 60fps with a ryzen 5 1600 and a rtx 3060

usually, chernarus 2020 without bots runs at 30-40 fps to me

lossless scaling works better in old games such as ARMA 3

if we talk about AI it may sounds like bullshit, yeah i hate AI too, but lossless scaling is fucking fire, sounded like bullshit when i saw it first, but it isnt.

@LEE O C lossless scaling is an app in steam (you can search in your store) its around 3-5 bucks, and it generate frames using ai, it works very fucking well in arma 3

@Roxxanne i hope im not too late. Dogechnya is actually on the left of the Chernarus, on the south, not fer from Svetloozersk, as far as i remember. its beetween Takistan and Chernarus btw

hey! im making a (geographic) map of what i think a realistic map of the green sea area (so chernarus, takistan, ardistan, etc), i posted it on reddit and someone suggested that Dogechnya could be added to the map, so i wanted to get yall's permission to put it on the map and possibly a general location of where (relative to chernarus) it is?

I know many people are focused on Arma 3 PVE, but we are making this map for PvP. We have played games up to 200 people. The map is very "heavy", and the AI ​​makes the game lag even more. The AI ​​can't handle so many objects, so the approach is aimed at PvP.

Arma 3 Profiling version slightly improves the FPS situation, as well as using a mod for dynamic draw distance.

Also, reducing the draw distance of shadows will help a lot.

We aim to build the most detailed map possible, but eventually we will start removing "unnecessary objects" for optimization. But only after finishing the main work.

Great terrain, the scale of city is impressive. Not using CUP is a great for me because CUP is massive.

Due to the scale of the city as you know FPS is bad, I don't know what can be done to improve it, but I think its the biggest drawback. Arma 3 is PVE focused so players will use AI and performance will only get worse.

More dense detailing of the city is probably not possible without sacrificing even more FPS. I don't know if you can improve FPS without shrinking the size of the city. As this map expands and you add more I imagine it will only get worse.

IMO shrinking the city down just a bit like maybe 20-30% and lowering the density of buildings as you get further from the centre would be worth it.

I love how you have residential / outskirts areas and then dense city blocks, if you can manage to keep the same design with a smaller city this map would be perfect. Or something to consider for a future terrain, less impressive size city but more performance friendly alternative.

@Tigre437 Just use the CH View Distance mod so u can adjust it according to need. When you enter the city turn ur view distance way down so u get more fps.

God, I'm in love with this map, the development team is a genius designing it but please, focus on the optimization before expanding it, once you enter the city as you have more than 1000 meters it lags in multiplayer servers, it's the only problem I have for not doing a 500 missions campaign here.
