@Adolf Rizzler Assuming there's proper tools to make basements in the official tools, I have some ideas to add some basements to the map. I really tried to keep it accurate to real studios so I'll add something like a dusty archive/move the instrument storage down there. There's also things like drumsets added to the official b42 tilesets; so there will be a refresh in many regards. No plans for a "prepper" style bunker however, I don't want the map to be a turnkey endgame base like the mansion in cell 49,40. The whole instrument/CD/music/electronics aspect didn't have a "main" POI so that's the niche I was going for, keeping it in line with vanilla. There should be some pros/cons to basing here + leaving some gameplay for people to make it their own. Hope that answers any questions/expectations :)

Will you be adding a bunker like the march ridge one or is it possible too make a version where you port the bunker from march ridge over ?

Lovely place, just explored it for the first time. Great place, looks good. Not too much loot but there are a number of rare things you might find here, it's a studio after all. I'd say it's in line with vanilla loot spawns. Great place for levelling up electronics though. Expected a couple more Zeds. It's a bit out of the way and not super easy to get in with a car, so no easy early game looting.
Not sure it's a good place for a base. It's out of the way but has multiple entrances through the forest so might not be the easiest to hold and fortify.

This is a really nice map, especially considering it doesn't use any tile packs. Great job. :thumbalift:

@Onsay It's fully integrated as far as the ingame map/minimap goes, I'm not aware of anyone doing an map like that but I'd rather y'all enjoy exploring/enjoying the mystery as it is anyways. Besides that'd give away some of the secrets! ;)

@Jarigon All maps function this way, assuming you've visited the cells they inhabit for SP. For MP the map is fully calculated upon generation of the server. If you follow the guide I linked at the bottom of the description you can add any map to existing SP/MP saves.

@rosedragon No worries! I literally just used the softest brush to add a lil dusting of zeds, just wasn't expecting the meta events and migration mechanics to be that hardcore! Muldraugh does have the highest zed spawns though so math checks out lol

@rosedragon, the proximity to muldraugh means the meta events (random loud noises) will pull them over time, foraging to the west will be your safest bet!

I dont know what happens, at first the base is peaceful. And suddenly zombies as much as a city. I quickly go barricade the area but didn't replace the gate yet, and now my house window is no longer pristine a www. .. and it is no longer safe to forage outside.

@rosedragon I'll look into widening it, I have an idea to make the center of it at least walkable, and I see what you say about the edge openings, it's tight on vanilla cars so modded especially will be problematic. Thank you for finding them!

@rosedragon I'll check into the garage, the bridge is an unfortunate side effect of Aquatsar on all transparent tiles, I'll see if I can at least make the wooden struts walkable.

I love this map for multiplayer, it is very spacious and accomodating to those that less savy with the game. Anyway, the bridge to it is a bit problematic.. First, player walking through it can fall through water tile. Second, the 'garage door openings' on it doesnt allow cars to get in, thankfully we have a sledge to destroy them!

@Deathstar Thank you! Im gonna do another pass on it to clean the roofs up a bit, I'll probably flip a coin on it then. And you're right, multiplayer balance pushes it pretty hard, the lake's really big offering a ton of fishing zones too, I thought the lack of gas would be a detriment but people run a ton of the fuel tanker style mods so I might up it a bit :)

That's fair enough! I was mainly thinking in terms of balancing, especially multiplayer. Considering the studio even has a well, it is probably THE best base on the entire map in my personal setup x)
Personally, I'd up it just a little bit.
That said, I love the attention to detail you've put into this map, each room is designed in a way that you can actually tell what it's for, which I love. Canvasback Studios is very likely joining my collection in the next big update - Keep up the great work <3

@Deathstar My main goal was to keep it Vanilla, I've went back and forth on it though. The main thing that kept me from altering the Vanilla spawn map (which is next to nothing) is the extremely dense pop of Muldraugh two cells east. With meta events and migration, anyone basing there should start to slowly draw attention. If I get enough feedback though I might up it to a level similar to the warehouses to the south!

What made you go with the low spawns by the way? Loving the map but I'd prefer if people had to work for it if they wanna claim it as theirs

@jazzboat_ don't worry I've tested, we're neighbouring cells, Canvasback is 33x34 and the MULD station for SOS is 34x34 ;)

haven't booted it up yet but 99% confident this will conflict with Save Our Station; although looking at the map maybe it'll just miss it? they might just be on adjacent tiles
