I have a pure vanilla L4D2 .
The second pistol is picked up with dual pistols deploy animation both in single player game and on dedicated servers.
What is going on?
Could you record it or even just list steps on how to reproduce it?
This should be fixed now, Hopefully.

delete pistol
give pistol

this will remove pistol and once remove then give new pistol and deploy animation always launch
