@Flatmouse I agree,I would also like to see more blunt weapons. As is they are putting in a lot of bladed weapons. My guess is that they are choosing according to weapon popularity.

I wish this would make it in. Fits with the existing style of the game and the "carpenter" hammer silhouette is just awesome. We need more blunt weapon skins, no more swords for a while!

I really hope this gets into the game, the War Hammer is my main weapon and this skin is beautiful.

If you like the weapons I made,please feel free to upvote and comment. Round 2 of weapon DLC is coming in am onth or so and I would love to see some of my submissions in game.I want to make more weapons for the game and all the community support is encouraging.


About me, I am both an avid student of Medieval history and I also clocked in over 200 hours of Chivalry, so every weapon ive made and will make will be intended to look historical and fitting with the games visual look.

All of the weapon skins are cosmetic changes to prexisting weapons.

Is this item meant to replace the weapon or just add it as a cosmetic option so both can appear in the game?

when can we download these and use in multiplayer?

@Oily Yea mate I agree, I have had a look through the polycount forums. I think many of the contestents misunderstood the specifics wanted for Chivalry. That being said, there are some excellent other pieces I've seen around the place. Though yours are easily some of the best..

@Yarnu Well I hope so, Im really curious to what people will say when some of the other entries make it on to the workshop. From reading that thread from the Torn Banner studios I have a feeling a lot of the entries might be deemed too high fantasy. But I could be mistaken and overlooked.

Hate to make you work hard Oily, I noticed you uploaded a picture of the Blood Masking on the 'Infidel's Bane' Curious if you could do the same for the 'Skullcracker'?

@Armoguy A blood mask is a 3 colored image/texture (Based on Red,Green and Blue) which applies blood on to the weapon when the weapon strikes an enemy. Each color has a certain amount of blood within the texture.

I thought this was 2 handed.

Just in case anyone is wondering,I do play the game,clocked in 176 hours and I'm submitting 2 weapons,this one and a variation of the messer. Both designs I tried to stay true to weapons you could actually see in a medieval battle field and I tried to make both fit within the style of the game.

Design much better than the original one, nice variation. Maybe a little bit darker steel, but anyway this warhammer is pretty badass.
