can this cage turn red?

Tried to do a match in this the other day but every time I tried to like interact with the cage it clipped me through it and then teleported me back into the ring. I would like to be able to get from inside the ring to outside the cage during the match somehow

So since it's released this has... NEVER worked once so... would LOVE if there was a update that actually made it work properly :\

If you go climb to top of cell during entrance then it can start the match on top of the cell. (If you enter before the AI then the AI should follow you up there)

I may update it at some point but it needs a whole rework and going to take a long time if I do look into it.

btw I tried adding a configuration using conventions matching the ladder match one but no dice :(

Any chance for updates? Also I saw in the DLL there's a property called startOnCell - is there a way to configure that to happen? I cannot manage to get out of the cage despite doing moves and taunting at door

@TBgλmer The collision only works for the HIAC match preset. Without it selected, it's literally just a texture with no collision

no collision, i tried every combination of ropes and mats withe very arena with a ring, no-go

+ it just crashed

Yeah, this is so buggy. The first time i brought and played the game and got this, I had no problem. Now that its my 2nd time playing, everytime i load into the calender screen it bugs out my charater. Even when unsubed, it gives me the error in the console.

@Street Unfortunately, there is no mention here, there is no such thing in the clean version of the game, this is when with mods that are

@Славяныч Check in SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Wrestling Empire\BepInEx\plugins

That should be where the mod folders are.

If it isn't there, then I have no idea why you would see anything relating to this mod as that is the only place mod data is stored.

@Street I looked in the folder in the steam, in the folder with the game there is no hell in the cage

Thanks @Bishop. Yeah the mod is still rather buggy and I haven't had time to go over it again for ages. I recommend just turning the mod off when playing career to be honest to avoid issues like that.

As for @Славяныч if you unsub from the mod, then find the folder where mods are installed and if you still see hell in a cell in there, delete the folder too and that should make sure it gets rid of it completely is all I can recommend.

Mod is awesome but has some really weird and hard to explain bugs. Sometimes it just crashes, characters teleport outside of the cage, ruins my career mode by overly booking me in Hell in a Cell matches, and other weird stuff I can't quite describe. Still cool though!

After removing the mod, I still have stripes from the hell cage. How to remove them?

some issues I've had is the game will work fine but minutes into the match I notice at some point the game forgets the Hell in a Cell even exists.

The Door no longer works (I've only opened it once but that's in the rare time the Hell in a Cell had NO issues but I've never seen the ceiling crash through)

And when restarting the Hell in a Cell disappears or it's non-existent and you simply walk through it.

But when it does work its one of the funnest matches in the game. Hope MDickie officially adds this and you or Mat adds doors to all cages again like Wrestling Revolution 3D!

Could it be something to do with the Epic Arena?

I knew of the sometimes clipping / teleport issues. (Yet to find out what causes them)

Thought I had fixed the bouncing issue though as never had that appear in a long time after I tried to fix it, so surprised someone else got that issue now.

Cage is a bit finicky. Wrestlers sometimes clip through it and also occasionally teleport into the middle of the ring when trying to climb the cage from the outside. Game physics get really buggy when on top of the cage as well. Once two wrestlers engage, they break apart and start bouncing up and down on top the cage until they inevitably bounce off the side

Interesting, it should work on its own so it could be combined with other match types, but that gives me something to look into if it wasn't working just as the cage type.

I know the cage works on my own custom arena I have, not sure why it wouldn't work on others like RAW 2000 but ill have a look into testing it on it.

I solved the issue on my end. The hell in the cell cage only works when using the hell in a cell match type. It doesn't work when you select it as the cage type for any other types of matches.

That was the issue on my end at least. It's only usable in "hell in a cell" match types. Which makes sense in hindsight.

I've had an issue where the Hell in a Cell would be visible but wrestlers go right through it as if it's not there too.

When I fixed the issue by either reinstalling the mod or restarting the game also there's sometimes an issue where the door no longer opens during or after matches or wrestlers morph to another location when trying to climb it.

I've assumed it's an issue when using modded locations/arenas though because it NEVER works in the RAW 2000 Arena and almost always soft crashes if I skipped entrances

Yeah I currently have no idea why people are getting that because I cannot replicate it. I would advise checking the console window to see if there are any errors during the match when there is no collisions as that may help if there is.

If there is no errors then I am currently not sure what to do if I cannot replicate the issue.

I am having the same problem as davids_address where the cell will show up but there is no collision and no interactivity.

@Davids_address are you trying to combine it with a dog Collar / rope match that got added in new update?

I had a bug report already that the cage gets ignored in those but haven't had a chance to look at it yet. (I imagine Mat has something to disable and ignore cages when those stipulations are on)

I can't get this to work. The hell in a cell will appear graphically, but it's non-collidable and non-interactive. The guys just walk straight through it and don't acknowledge it's existence, any ideas on how to fix this ?

Not much I can do if I can't replicate it. When it occurs the console window should show some errors in red. If you can copy and paste the error I can try and find out why you are getting it (It will likely spam repeat the same error so would just need 1 instance of it)

Every arena I tried, I just can't do like your video, the guys never make it to the top, it glitches out and crashes the whole game with multiple animations

Does that happen every time for you or did something in particular to cause it @Legio Rex?

My character glitches had on the cage, I can't even climb to the top

And just pushed update to fix the cell selection.

I missed that when testing last update. If you pick the Hell in a cell match type (Go left from singles match a few times) then it should still appear. Will look at fixing doing it from cage selection again today though.

The Hell in a Cell doesn't show up for me anymore. When I try to select it, it says "-1/3" and nothing appears on the selection screen or once the match begins.

Done some bug fixing, the cell shouldn't cause lots of instances of damage anymore being the main bug fixed. A few other smaller fixes as well.

Still have some reported bugs (Like animations breaking or climbing in air) but I don't know a way to replicate these myself yet which makes it harder to find a solution. If anyone finds a reliable way to replicate any bug please let me know.

I haven't been putting my mods on thunderstore since steamworkshop support came so they wouldn't be on there.

Having Trouble finding out how to get this to work. I don't see the Hell in a Cell or Ladder Matches on the Thunderstore Mod Manager and the Mod Launcher won't load since installing WECCL.

One other thing I've noticed about the cell is when moves are performed on top of it, the recipient usually reacts to throws, slams, suplexes and so on as if they're falling from a high place, such as when a move throws them over the top rope or off furniture.

@Zaw77, I assume currently if you set for weapons to spawn inside ring they spawn on the roof? Not sure how to fix that currently but is something I will look into.

Is there a way to have weapons spawn in the cell?

I found the conflicting mods not sure what it wasbut holy shit you really did outdid yourself with this mod. I thought the ladder match was awesome but holy hell this mod is insane. 10/10 mod

@rebelGaming033, if you see a few comments before yours, the ring size mod is likely what is causing that glitching out. I will eventually look into trying to find out why that causes that but will prioritise fixing bugs that are not conflicts with other mods first.

when I try to climb to the top of the cage and I get on top the character starts glitching out and I am not sure what mod could be causing it. other than that this is an A tier mod love that we can have ladder matches and cell matches such great additions to this already amazing game

it's beautiful...the cage i've always wanted and probably the only cage i'll ever need again. it'll be a great addition to my "you're locked in here with me" matches

Ok, I figured out the glitching was probably due to a conflict with the ring size mod. I didn't use that this time and had no problems. Still, it seems like wrestlers can only do top rope moves when standing on top of the cell.

When I get on top of the cell, the player model goes wild with glitches and I can't move normally. Pressing the strike button causes me to continuously attempt a top rope axehandle smash. Also, I set the match as falls count anywhere and whenever my opponent was knocked down near the cell door after I had opened it, the referee thinks they're being pinned even if I'm not nearby.
