i think there's a voiceline that makes the game crash coming from this character. Dunno which one, maybe its all of them, cause i didn't even get to see the voiceline appear before the game crashed. The only reason i suspect its the gourmet is that my game crashed upon going to the quest selection screen, i restarted the game, put him in my party, my game crashed again during the quest, i completed the quest, removed him with another character, and it hasn't crashed since i used him. Otherwise I have no clue what would've caused the multiple crashes.

I love this guy. He's a great frontliner and his food -while dubious- is a fun mechanic.

Been playing the mod for a bit now and I'm loving this dude so far! A small nitpick I've noticed though is that a quick snack and meat shield feel a bit too powerful. Clearing debuffs for one target is already pretty strong, but doing it for two at once on top of regen makes it so the stress really doesn't balance it out. Then theres meat shield which feels like three different guard skills stacked into one, with the healing received, damage and crit boost, and the resist buffs, on top of the guard which is a mechanic that's usually meant to be used as frequently as possible, meaning the forward 2 is always triggering and guaranteeing Gourmet is never in a disadvantageous position unless he ends up in the back. It all makes meat shield way more powerful than the average guard move and as a result leads to it feeling unbalanced. Obviously I mean no disrespect and like I said I love the mod, I just thought Id share some constructive criticism on things that I felt should be addressed

As far as I'm aware, no one else has experienced a crash due to this mod specifically. Perhaps you've reached the mod limit for your file?

The heal can become way better with his very rare trinket. Besides the big guy is a jack of all trades, with better damage and mark team support. It is a problem that aside arbalest and occultist, mark teams need a second healer, so those afformentioned are a must for the team to function well.

I really adore the big man, though I do have one critique. The scaling for the healing move is very... strange? It's rough. It starts out really low and pretty weak, but scales to be incredibly strong. Healing two people for 2 health with a half chance for an extra minor restoration is just not worth using. But as you scale him up he goes all the way up to healing both for 6 guaranteed hp and a more reliable chance at 4 extra hp through restoration.

I honestly feel the scaling could be revamped, alongside the gambling chance at restoration.
Could go like:
Heal self for 3/3/4/4/5
Heal target for 2/3/3/4/4
Apply restoration of 1 health for 1/1/2/2/3 turns to both?

Would help the base healing be better, with the reliable extra restore and makes the cap at max not as extreme and gambly.

Reguardless I think he's a very well made class, and it's super impressive you made it all on your own
