Using the slide-lock animation slot of the magnum to incorporate the en bloc ping is fucking genius. All the other M1 Garand mods normally go to the hunting rifle and the ping only happens when the reload is initiated rather than the final round. Also making it the magnum makes it seem like a double primary without custom scripts which is pretty neat in a setting like L4D2.
