after testing both mods, i also have found that this mod does not work correctly with the mod No Job Authors, so there seems to be an incompatibility between the two

@XandrMoro I did it by placing crafting spot (with work spot facing down) and starting and stoping mace on it. then Moved pawn exactly bellow it then when you click finsh it on unfinished mace he will come pick it up and start working on it facing another direction

@szmtex I wasnt able to immediately reproduce it, but I'll take a look. As I said, the mod uses a bit of a hack to override the default activity queue, so odd things might happen

You know... Out of all the mod makers out there who've (rightfully) asked for a donation, yours is the only one I've ever seen asking for nutrient paste.

@XandrMoro Hello I think I found little bug nothing serious but its there. If i leave unfinished item on workstation that faces down and then click on this item and press "finsh it" if pawn comes exacty from the bottom he picks item and start working facing wrong direction (down instead of up). If i click pawn first and tell him to go work on it he stands as he should only if I used finish it it happens and only if he comes on straight line

Well, 1.6 hasn't been released yet, but it's available on Steam as an unstable build, and there are already over 5,400+ mods for version 1.6 in the workshop.

To be honest, I didn't expect you to reply to me. Please don't think I'm hurrying you, I just wanted to know when you plan to update the mod.

My Rimatomics issue might have been related to the Storage Pool issue because now it's working after I removed the pools.

Will the finish it gizmo allow a pawn to finish an item, even if the related bill is suspended or needs currently met?

Having issues with this mod. The "finish" gizmo appears, but pressing it has no effect and nothing in the dev log like others are saying. Most of the bills being finished are paused because they're at their limit, but this seems to be happening even on bills that aren't yet complete. To be fair I am also using a ton of mods, so not sure what might be the issue.

I'm using Rimatomics and the bench that's making all the defensive upgrades still exits but when I click the Finish it! button, nothing happens and the dev log shows nothing either.
This is all happening at the original bench and it has not been removed at any time.

Its most probably the fact that the bench where the thing was initially created does not exist anymore. If you are 100% certain that its not the case - contact me in DM/modding discord, please.

hmmm got a few mods running and I see the button but there's nothing happen when I press it, Anybody got any ideas. Need this as I have about 30 unfinished bionics my bots have abandoned midway through. doh

It works for me and I have plenty of mods. Just select item and press finish it. :) Unfortunately, it doesn't work if the unfinished item is on the shelf.

@XandrMoro Would you please add some "beep" sound when "finish it is pressed. (great QoL mod)

I'm afraid it does not work for me either. I don't have any of the mods that people are talking about here but I do have QualityBuilder for example. Still, I don't see any option when to force finish an object. :(

It would still require adhoc bill creation (pawns can not work without a bill, unless you really really modify a lot of behaviors), and keeping them consistent might be not that easy. Anyway, I'm not going to implement anything new until the dust settles after new patch, but I added it to my to-investigate list

@Fralee it should be technically possible, I think, but it would require quite... hacky approach, and I can not guarantee its stability. I will take a look after 1.5, might do is as "use it on your own risk" option

it's not compatible with anyone can finish? Ok I am going to keep that one. As annoying as unfinished stuff is I rather 1 over having to tell 5 or six to finish or cancel because the one that started it is gone.

@SirVivel I have not tested that, but I'm 99.98% they are very, very incompatible (and probably can not be made compatible). Like, you have to know what pawn should do the bill, and if that info is not there its not gonna happen

@Surge Badger from the top of my head it will not work if the bill or workstation that created the item was removed, even if you make the exact copy. It also can only be done by the pawn that originally created the thing (when you select the unfinished thing it should show you the author in the description).
In general, it should be fine to add midgame - after all, I made it mid my own playthrough when got swamped with unfinished items :p

Thanks for the mod. I've installed and loaded it into a current save I have, and whilst I do have the icon for 'Force it' I cannot seem to action it against the unfinished items I have on my shelves. I also cannot select a pawn and right click the unfinished items. Does this mod not work for items that existed before you added it? Makes sense if not, I was just hoping it would as I have a load of stuff lying around unfinished.

@acerew2436 it might sometimes require you to click it twice for pawn to comply with the order. If there are any errors in the log - that might help identifying the issue
