Doesn't hurt to inform yourself, if WASD was an option by default I'm sure it would be used instead of TFGH, and in a game that's so complex the availability of more keys nearby TFGH than WASD is arguably useful.

WASD is default camera controls which used to be unable to be changed, That's why, and it ended up sticking.
