Not in mod list.

I have the same issue, Rec. Gaia has always said this mod is compatible with hers, but it appears not completely.
Leger123 11. nov. 2023 kl. 6:31
In my games, for whatever reason it would not show all religions whenever I try to found a religion. For context, I'm running Gaia's Core Mod, the Sapiens Mod, and most of its submods. I do not know if there is something I'm missing, or something in the files.

Will not load from workshop---is there a direct download ?

I can personally help with the French translation if needed.
makszik 8. maj 2022 kl. 6:44
Hi, I found your mod and I fell in love with this! I see that there is no translations to other languages, do you want me maybe to do so?
Amom 11. apr. 2022 kl. 13:01
¡Muy bien trabajado Tomatekh!
Gerishnakov 13. okt. 2021 kl. 19:04
I'm sure this may have been brought up before, but how come the links to the High American and Oceanic denomination packs are broken?
lord_ladrian 11. jan. 2021 kl. 16:14
And when I disable this mod, those four religions remain available alongside the base religions, so I think the other two are coming from other mods as well (Akhenaten and Nri). So in effect, the bug is that all the religions from Historical Religions Complete have disappeared.
lord_ladrian 11. jan. 2021 kl. 15:09
Having a very similar problem to Typh and 76561198088815991: I'm only being given the option to found Atenism, Odinani, and two religions from other mods - Mormonism (which I believe was renamed to Restorationism and renamed back by JFD's Deseret mod) and Bai Shangdi (which comes from PorkBean's Heavenly Kingdom)
Jiang Zemin 14. maj 2020 kl. 0:10
Does this mod work with VP?
kardiomed 4. apr. 2020 kl. 17:25
and Ayyavazhi?
kardiomed 4. apr. 2020 kl. 17:22
And Where is Cheondoism, Tenrikyo, Caodaism?
DoloresK 4. feb. 2020 kl. 7:04
I am also having a limited number of religions (Atenism and Odinani specifically).
Typh 9. dec. 2019 kl. 21:04
Strange conflcit I have aI am trying to fix. I only am able to Choose One Icon and one icon alone that happens to be the Odinani icon. I have subscribed ot numbers custom Empires, most from the big modders. So I am at a loss here. hrm.
Gabadur 4. nov. 2019 kl. 12:55
Did you remove Adventism? i swear i saw it in this mod once
Stef 29. okt. 2019 kl. 14:16
For some reason, I'm not seeing anymore the HR preference of a civ, when able to choose religion (so the little icon that was always showing on the top right of the related symbol).

Is this a setting, load order issue or otherwise conflict?

I'm only using HR Complete v45 (Steam) and the Community Patch (Steam 20 May). Until recent I had an earlier version of the CP, so could this be related and if so, solvable?

Thanks!
SkyeisaHoe 31. juli 2019 kl. 18:28
Hey, should the religions be showing up in the Civilopedia? Because they aren't for me. I've removed any mods that might interfere with this so I want to make sure. Sorry if I'm asking stupid questions.
Tomatekh  [ophavsmand] 26. juli 2019 kl. 15:03
@Akumoakami530

If the game is saying the mod is loaded, it's possible another mod you are using is interfering with this mods files or overwriting the religion system itself. You'd need to check your other mods.

@MCXopjesh

There's no way to really tell outright. Usually the author will mention compatibility on the mod's download page. This mod is generally well enough known and easy enough to accommodate that most major civ v authors include it.

@Queen Ash
Scientology is included in Ryoga's Strange Religions mod

@highfivingbears
You can also download the individual mods, but they should not be active for a game the same time as the complete mod

@weegeeman123
My only guess is another mod you are using is interfering with this one, you're playing with a scenario ruleset, or the game files are corrupt.
SkyeisaHoe 25. juli 2019 kl. 18:17
Hey, I have a question. My game keeps telling me that this mod is in use but I only get the regular religions. Am I doing something wrong?
MCXopjesh 5. juli 2019 kl. 14:15
and is there a collection that has all the other comatible civs listed here: https://civilization-v-customisation.fandom.com/wiki/Tomatekh%27s_Historical_Religions
MCXopjesh 5. juli 2019 kl. 14:13
So how do I tell which new civ mods from which authors are compatible?
90s Edgelord 9. juni 2019 kl. 13:26
scientology???
highfivingbears 3. apr. 2018 kl. 15:32
Does it matter if you also download the individual mods themselves, or will that conflict somehow?
Carol Almansur 1. jan. 2018 kl. 8:55
Yes, I have enabled the historical religions mod, but it appears that even if the mod is disabled, these religions still show up, when I look at the civpedia, their description only says "placeholder". These religions also practically disable Historical Religions in its entirety, with only these placeholders being there.
Tomatekh  [ophavsmand] 31. dec. 2017 kl. 14:53
@antman9994Gaming
The mod includes Norse religion under the name Forn Sidr

@weegeeman123
The mod includes Aztec religion under the name Tlateomatiliztli as well as several animistic religions. Are you sure you're enabling the mod and it's loading properly? There are 13 religions in the base game, so that's how many would appear if the mod is not being loaded. When loaded there's over 100 religion choices.
Carol Almansur 31. dec. 2017 kl. 14:25
Does this mod include any religions like Animism, or the Aztec religion Teotl, because as of recent, any attempt to found religions with this mod enabled only amounts to about 13 religions, which almost none of which have any inclusion in this mod as far as I can tell, any help?
90s Edgelord 27. nov. 2017 kl. 18:44
Ohhhh yeah you also (not that it matters) forgot the Occult. Ill be a happy as a pagan if Paganism is in this pack.
90s Edgelord 27. nov. 2017 kl. 18:40
I see Thor's Hammer but not sure
90s Edgelord 27. nov. 2017 kl. 18:39
does this mod have Paganism???
Thirram 20. nov. 2017 kl. 0:37
Update: after getting fed up with the the glitch happening each time i decided to delete the modmodulator thing or whatever it's called and began to activate mods again one by one (but not any moded civs until now) and now everything works again. Hopefully this is the last time i update
Thirram 19. nov. 2017 kl. 11:35
Update i deactivated some mods and activated other and the bad news is i don't think whowards 3 units in a city mod was the only responible for the earlier glitch. I think there a different mod to blame
Thirram 19. nov. 2017 kl. 2:11
Don't worry about it man you did your best and that's alll that matters and i appreciate you trying to help me!
Tomatekh  [ophavsmand] 18. nov. 2017 kl. 19:10
Huh, that's interesting. I can't really see why that mod would cause random great people to spawn. Whoward's stuff is usually all DLL code and completely bug free. I'm glad you figured out the issue, though, and I'm sorry I wasn't more help. I'll try and message Whoward a see if he can figure out the error.
Thirram 18. nov. 2017 kl. 13:44
Update it was Whowards 3 unit in a city (i think that what it was called)
Thirram 18. nov. 2017 kl. 9:21
Update: So i kinda know what's been causing the great people and an architect to spawn. It was one whoward's mod (which one im not sure as i turned them all at once so this make take a bit)
Thirram 17. nov. 2017 kl. 14:09
Update: so apparently it's the Nri mod makes every religion dissapear but their implomented religion. Still no idea what caused architects and great people from appearing
Thirram 17. nov. 2017 kl. 2:19
No problem, i still don't know what caused the architect and the great people to spawn however but if i do I'll be sure to post it
Tomatekh  [ophavsmand] 17. nov. 2017 kl. 1:05
Hmm, this mod should have no problem working with JFD's Mormon and Nri mods (and his Akenhaten mod which also adds a religion). The religions from those mods are actually from my HR mod, he asked if he could incorporate them and the mods have code to delete the duplicate entries when used together. I'll ask him to see if he changed anything. Thanks for the update!
Thirram 16. nov. 2017 kl. 23:22
Right so first time i disabled every mod but modded civilizations and this mod and all of the religions dissapeared apart from 2 (which where from 2 moded civilization). The second time i disabled this mod but, i didn't disable any civ mods the deafult religions appeared and the same 2 that appeared the first time. Did some research and apparently both religions which kept showing up (mormonism and odinani (which weirdly this mod has) are also in two seperate jfd mods (mormonism being from Deseret (or at least his remake of the original mod) and odinani from his Nri mod) which is quite sad as they're both good mods. Anyways everything seems to be working even though it does feel like some religions are missing even though they're actually not. I'll be turning mods on now so I'll post if anything comes up.
Tomatekh  [ophavsmand] 16. nov. 2017 kl. 5:05
Hmm, well all my mods are fully compatible with any mod mae by JFD, Sukritact, Pouakai, Leugi, TPangolin (which makes up a big of your list). It aloso should have any problems with stuff like IGE, Ingame Editor, and the more resource mods. Global Religious Settlers is a possibility for a conflict if that mod hardcoded only the 12 default religions instead of checking the religion ID #. The other two would be More Pantheons or Longer Religion names.

I'd try the same mod list with HR disabled to see if the problem pops up when just founding a default religion. Then try again with just Religious Settlers disabled. Then try with the 4 mods I mentioned disabled. There's usually no real way to no for sure which one is definitely causing the conflict without some trial and error disabling mods and checking. You should be able to use IGE to give you a ton of faith as soon as you found your first city so that you can found a religion instantly to check.
Thirram 15. nov. 2017 kl. 7:41
Also i tried the regular historical religions ad the seperate denominations and heresies and it still happens
Thirram 15. nov. 2017 kl. 5:38
well apart from some moded civ's, i use the community patch, civ 4 diplomacy, 43 civ pack, Cultural Diffusion,Custom Advanced Setup Screen, Emigration, extra victory conditions, whowards mods (them being Global - 3 Units Per City, Global - Air Routes, Global - CS Raze Rarely, Global - Local Generals, Global - Religious Settlers and Global - Unlimited Units Per Tile,) InfoAddict, Ingame Editor, JFD's and Pouakai's Mercenaries, Longer CityUnitReligion Names, More Luxuries with More Pantheons added and Resources Expanded. Appologies for the late response
Tomatekh  [ophavsmand] 14. nov. 2017 kl. 16:54
It would have to be from another mod. Spawning units or granting great people points could only be done with lua which this mod doesn't use. If you list your current mods I might be able to narrow it down for you.
Thirram 14. nov. 2017 kl. 13:52
So there is this weird glitch i get whenever i find a religion, a turn after a architect, a great general and a great engineer spawn. Also it demands i pick a random great person of my choice and when i select the city the religion was founded in, on the great person tab it says that i have over 30,000 great person point for all for of the units i mentioned. this glitch also happens when the a.i create a religion
Lisbon Mapping 26. juli 2017 kl. 14:38
Thanks.
Tomatekh  [ophavsmand] 26. juli 2017 kl. 8:23
I haven't tested them together, but it should be.
Lisbon Mapping 26. juli 2017 kl. 6:28
Is this compatible with the religion spread mod? (The one that adds a map to see what cities follow which religion)
vondraco 3. juni 2017 kl. 23:56
Excellent mod. I particularly enjoy the ability to read a little bit about the religion in the Civopedia. I'm a big religious buff, though personally an atheist. More common than one might think.
