Could you make an energy shield? a blue shield like from Half life alyx but have it like the ExoShield from S.A.F.S. , would be cool as hell but you would be able to toggle it and the charge would go slowly down before shutting off and making an overheat noise

Well and as standard I will ask an additional question, on this mod: will new shields be added, or will the existing ones be updated? I just have an idea for a two-handed but durable shield that can only be used in combat if you have a partner, but I wouldn't want to make a mod myself since there is already your mod.

so i turn 1 into 10 by throwing it into the roof of my sub it fell and it open up then i pick it up and make it close itself showing up as 2 and seems like i can dub it as many times as i want sometimes it makes into 2 or 3 o.o

Yeah, I think this may just be some weird mod conflict on my end. Figured I'd let y'all know regardless.

Not sure if this is because I'm running this w/ multiple other mods, but whenever I try to actually activate the shield, it duplicates itself. A lot. I can get like 8 additional shields just from deploying one.

I might add more when I have time. Thanks for the suggestion.
