C_hands is a GMod thing. I don't know what it is either but I know it's for Gmod.

The description has a solution to the problem, at least when the camera is close up. The default settings on SFM's camera has a limit on how close things can be viewed. That can be changed in the camera's settings through the element viewer.

Ok I don't know if anyone else has this problem or not but I've noticed the nails disappear if viewed from certain angles in my case only showing up from above or the front any other angle and they completely vanish at first i thought they weren't showing up period because of this.

I hope there's a way to fix/solve this as it very frustrating.
