Could it be possible to make the trade part of the mod separate from the sea lanes? That way there's no need for a separate mod with and without trade, and they could be mixed and matched separately and even used without the additional sea lanes?

As per request an IEE version has been released - Marco Colombos Charted Sealanes - IEE. It took way longer to make than initially planned, so I'll add the last flavour texts as well as a proper node list in the description tomorrow.

So I had my first look at IEE and it looks amazing. It changes the map of not only the new unlocked regions but also the old, which means my initial work does not work with it, atleast not from what I quickly made and tested.

I will make a brand new Frontier Explorers for IEE to give players the same options as this mod does.

With that said, I need to round up a few of my current mod projects or it will get to clustered for me. :)

Hopefully I can have an IEE version out within the coming weekend.

Thanks for the answer. Cause I got rid of two sea lane related mods that hadn't been updated in 4.0 or 3.0 probably even further back. So regardless sea lane mods need to be made compatible with IEE as well. Thank you for the insight. Looking forward to seeing a compatible version. This mod's great.

@Solaire - I would assume that they need updates eventually, perhaps not right away, but down the line I think so yes, as the mod involves a script.

Anything touching coordinates might also break, since I got reports, that it doesn't work with IEE, which I have to look into and see if I can make compatable.

I could quickly do a version without the trade scripts and only the nodes, thats like 5 mins work tops. :steamhappy:

MCT options is always nice, but to be honest, I never looked into it, as I assume its heavy scripting outside my skillset.

I can only do simple stuff by hours of trial and error when I pick out stuff from the data.pack scripts. I really try to avoid scripts. :steamsad:

I also got 3 mods in the works and ideas for several more. :steambored:

I wonder why it isn't. Maybe some coordinates thing. Tell you what, I'll give it a look tomorrow, since more of you have asked for it.

Right now I wan't to finish up a slave mod, that I sadly spendt more then 20+ hours on because I overlooked 1 tiny thing and did like 100 other dirrent kind of combos to make it work, but it works now, just testing and streamlining. :steambored:

Didn't even think of that, as I haven't tried IEE yet, but sea lanes to that part of the world would be pretty needed I imagine.

I could give it a look, but currently got a good amount of mod projects in the works, so no promises when I get around to it. Definitly something I'll add to the list though.

The zoomed out campaign map icons are beautiful, really well done!!
Apologies if you've already considered and decided not to, but would adding IEE compatibility be something you would consider? Not new lanes or anything just access to the one's you created :)
