Okay I thought this mod wasn't working, but after a while the mod started to load. Just be patient ^^
Also, this mod doesn't accept UTF-8 special characters, like the "é" or the "â". I'm a French guy and because of this I can't rename my weapons with good french words.
If it's possible to change this, that'll be awesome ^^

Apparently there is an incompatibility issue with Awesome Follower Tweaks.

I have a small problem. I open my inventory and it seems 1 spot in my inventory is incorrect. Generally when you press the hotkey it opens the rename Box and at the top of the box it shows the current(old) name of that item. But in this one location is does not. It shows something from much higher in my inventory list. Also, the that location seems to change sometimes... It's weird. But it is a small problem as I've found ways around it. If i drop an affected ring on the ground I can then point at it and rename just fine, for instance. Any idea why it's doing this?

This would be the perfect mod if it didn't require SkyUI. I don't want SkyUI, and this mod really doesn't seem to need it. However, without SkyUI, I get this nagging error message every time I quickload. I would love to recommend this mod to others, but for this reason alone, I can't. It seems like a very minor annoyance, but for now, I'll have to keep this mod disabled

So, does this have some sort of known issue with player enchanted items? I made a bunch of silver necklaces, enchanted them for various things, then realized I forgot to rename them. Got this to rename them, but all it's doing is .... duplicating the base, unenchanted silver necklace with the new name and doing nothing with the item I want to rename?
So... I have 1 silver necklace with +20% alteration, I 'rename' to Aleration Silver Necklace, and then I have.... 1 silver necklace with a 20% alteration enchant and 1 UNenchanted silver necklace named Alteration Silver Necklace.

I beg you, please turn the SkyUI check off. I know I don't have it. I know some features won't be enabled. I'm not getting SkyUI because I don't like it. I don't need an additional dialogue box popping up every single time I quickload.

I don't think i can help you with that, unless you haven't tried to set the names again.

yeah i found out how to do that but after a while from getting off the game it didnt save the names but it saved my game

As i said before, you need to set the hotkey yourself by going in the mod's MCM menu.

You can get it on Steam, but if you want to install it through the SKSE website but don't know how to do that you can watch a tutorial by Gopher.

Do you have SKSE? You need to have SKSE for SkyUi to work.

Hey I have a little problem.
This mod has always worked perfectly fine with me, but suddenly i'm getting a bug. On my newest game, when I first tried to use it (which was to rename my horse), if I remember right it did come up with the menu and I entered a name and pressed ok, but I think it came up a secodn time? or it came up very briefly and vanished. Sorry it was a few weeks ago. But now, not only did it not work but any time I go to name something it just ays "Renaming named object" in the top, but then nothing at all happens, no box comes up, no naming happens.
I tried resubscribing but nothing happened, first thing I tried was also to reset everythign with the MCM menu.

I also jsut tested it on one of my existing games and it is working. So it's just in this new game. Any thoughts at all?

renaming mod added npc's causes them to, after teaming up and them trying to marry them, lose all access to dialogue meaning you can't talk to them/select them at all

@The Pale Rider does it show any type of message or just completely crashes?

hmm... not so sure about horses, but you might want to check out my second comment below yours, or in short look at your horse, press the renaming key (the horse might have been renamed to "object"), give him a name & then confirm.

whenever i name my horse i can ride him once but after i dismount i cant ride him anymore, has this happen to anyone else? how do i fix this bug?
