compatible with tactical weapons?

Is there a way to fix the durability on these spears? It's an improvement from the wooden spears but the trade off with all the materials you need to craft one makes it seem not so worth it, can this be changed or?

if you break the spear then reclaim the parts aren't broken so you can make it again and it'll have 1/3 of max left so you can use them indefinitely just by having enough screws

Hunting Knife Cond: 10/10
Improved Spear Handle Cond: 12/12
Screwdriver Cond: 6/10
= Improved Spear Hunting Knife Cond: 10/15.

Then, did try this:

Hunting Knife Cond: 10/10
Improved Spear Handle Cond: 12/12
Screwdriver Cond: 10/10
= Improved Spear Hunting Knife Cond: 14/15

So does it factors the condition of the screwdriver?
And also you cannot get the whole 15/15 condition when crafting?

do remember you have to create a handle to put the different blades onto first

no recipes required, just search up "Improved" and it should show up since that work is in the name of every spear

its not going to be crafted with full condition if the handle is damaged, the handle's current durabikity has the biggest impact, but i'll push a small improvement update too

Is this seperate? As in, is this all one recipe? If so, is it possible to make it seperate, like add the handle, the scrap. Something like that

when it comes down the the math, current stats for the new version i'll upload tonight have stuff like the shoddier and less effective spears at 1 in 9 chance, and 10 max condition (~90 hits), moderate ones like the hand fork and screwdriver at 1 in 12 chance, and 12 condition (~144 hits), while more "well made" spears like the kitchen and hunting knives, along with the machete, are at 1 in 14 chance, with 15 max condition (~210 hits) hope this hends

I will add compatibility in SOMW with time.
I just was busy with content update.
For now it's time for more compatibility.
So... SOMW will automatically adjust Improved Spears stats when i release the patch.

Being a huge spear fan, I love the idea! I dove into other mods and did a quick passthrough on potential cross-compatibility.

Based upon what I've seen, it doesn't look like SOMW's crit overhaul touches upon Spear damage, so it's compatible in that sense.

In terms of stats, comparing SOMW's tweaks to the Machete Spear and this mod's Improved Spear with Machete show that Improved Spear's stats on that item are more closer to vanilla stats with some improvements, so your mileage will vary depending on the stat differences.

Trying to compare every similar item would be time-consuming, so creating a compatibility mod would be exponentially more work to do.
